Deep sounding, short decay, love it

High quality kick head. I bought it in combination with the "Aquarian 20" Regulator Black Bass Drum" and I'm 100% satisfied with the sound. The head is really deep, low-pitched sounding, and in combination with the reso (which has a hole) I don't even have to muffle it to get a short kick pulse, but it still keeps the tone of the kick, which it was exactly what I was looking for.

Absolutely recommended.

Emperor 20" Head

I bought this for our practice kit which takes a lot of abuse as it was advertised for drummers who hit hard. The sound quality is excellent - and the head appears to be fairly hardwearing. The only slight niggle is that it stretched fairly quickly where the beater hits - so it lost some of its sound quality. I did worry that it would tear but so far, it has not got any worse - albeit we have protected the area with some tape for good measure.

Improved sound!

I have bought this skin for my millenium mx-200 series. The wood and the skin makes the sound of a drumm unique, so just upgrading my drum with this skin in my opinion improved the quality of the drumm. In the future for sure i will buy another drumm.

20inch Remo coated Emperor on Bass Drum

I was a little bit disappointed with this product. I use Coated Emperor on my toms and i love them, unfortunately,FOR ME i felt they just didn't give me the sound i need from my bass drum. No matter how i tuned it i felt it was too high pitch for my personal taste. I have a 22inch one ordered for my 2nd bass drum so perhaps it will sound a bit more low end then.
