Very clear sounding.

Genres I play: Metal, -core, rock, pop

Sounds good in all of these.

Nice head for soft beaters, but use plastic or wooden ones without SERIOUS protection pads and it won't last a week.

We have been using these skins for samba "surdo" instruments, very sturdy even being used against soft felt tip beater mallets.
