clear and fat sound for pop, rock, metal music!

I had to go with a drum head that can give me clear sound so I bought this.It can go really fat in the mix with nice mids and highs!if you're struggling with a muddy kick this is probably the right kick for you.

The best for tight and fat sound

I do use this head for recording a lot , but they realy excel in rehearsal rooms. Tight and fat . Amazing

Remo

Remo got a reputation as being the go-to for drum skins. I think their marketing strategy over the years and their choice of endorsers has really worked wonders.

But, I am not convinced they're actually as good as people think they are.

Don't get me wrong, they are VERY good drum skins.

And, I would definitely use them (I sometimes do) in any setting.

But, there's just something a bit weird in the sound for me.

Some harsh high overtones that I simply hate. I don't have this problem with Evans at all.

But, yeah, Remo's are almost as good as they say they are.

But I prefer Evans for overall tone.

Exelent Bass Drum Head!

A nice thud without the mud! I like the pinstripe clears for my tom batter heads to get an attack that cuts through in a mix but keeps a nice low end thud. That's my two cents.Great for recording

Controlled and balances sound. Keeps overtones under control. Great for recording, checked in studio.

Cheap bass drum head, great sound.

To be honest, i bought this drum head because of the low price it had. I don't have much experience with remo drum heads because i tend to use evans instead, but 2 years later since i bought them, i find them pretty good, they have a great sound and i think they can still live for another 2 years, which makes it a great investment.

Great head for the price

First and foremost I play rock music with a Ludwig kit and DW kicker

I found the head to be quite 'boomy' at first, I was more after a tight response.

Once I used a beater pad on the skin it shortened the decay drastically and really gave me the sound I was looking for. I also found the sound more to my liking using the hard side of the beater as that helped with the attack/decay sound I was after to rock music.

Quality was excellent, although I was user a beater pad, so this helped spread the impact of the head on each kick. Remo are a recognised brand mind, and all of their heads have always been superb for me

Would recommend!

A classic.

I've used pinstripes on my kick drums for years now. I've tried other heads but always come back to this.....I guess I just love that classic 80's dead low end thump that these heads give...stick a kick pad on it and your set.

Pinstripes are a classic that can't be beat, tough and long lasting.

Good for price

I think it is one of best pinstripe for mass drum from remo. The sound is clear with medium amount of attack. Perfect for rock songs or something not too heavy.

Remo BD Batter

Have used Remo pinstripe heads since I began playing many years ago and have always found them very consistent, quality wise. Great on any drum, whatever the size. Great tone and easy to tune.
