Takes off high end, adds warmth.

This bass drum head really warms up the bass drum sound. It suits open tunings because it controls a lot of the high end, and allows for a dynamic bass drum sound. It’s my favourite head Remo make. But I wouldn’t recommend it for very heavy hitters.

Remo's Best Kept Secret

These are probably my favourite bass drum batter heads, and I have tried most! The Renaissance P3 sounds amazing, I have tried them on a few drums over the years and currently have it on a 1980's Yamaha 9000 22x14, the drum sounds great with any head but these heads have a gorgeous attack/tone balance and as strange as it sound they feel great to play under your foot. Definitely worth a try, especially if you are a fan of the coated PS3 (my second favourite bass drum head!),

Great quality drum head

Exactly what I was looking for to refresh an old overlooked kick drum.

Huge improvement over the previous (factory) head.
