It's great!

This uke it awesome, nothing bad to say about it, it feels strong and solid! Not hard to play at all, but only with a strap.

For practice and travel

I live while traveling the world. It is good to be portable and not bother people around you with the volume.

Great for travel and practise.

I bought this purely for travel. It fits into my backpack and has been on a flight from London to Miami - just what I was looking for. The criticisms you can read online about the tuning are true, but a bit of PTFE spray on the round metal bar that the strings roll around helps tremendously and the problem is gone. I would have preferred the jack output to be on the end of the body rather than the bottom, but it's no big deal. It took me a while to get used to the neck shape (the profile is a little square) however I soon got used to it; indeed with my arthritic thumb it made playing easier! The build quality is excellent, and a swap to Worth brown strings brought out a little more tone. Obviously the acoustic tone is dead and very quiet, but plugged in it sounds great. I often use a Traveler headphone amp. Just a final slightly unrelated thought; this was my first concert uke (I normally play tenor). I found that playing up the neck the fret spacing was too narrow for me. I've swapped now to the tenor model - perfect! (and it still fits in my back pack - just.)
