Best Lil-Buy

And to think I went 10 years without one lol! This has to be one of those Best-Lil Buys, you're ever going to make! It works perfectly, and the Dim button alone, has proven to be worth it's weight in gold haha! "Just do it"

pretty great

I have it for quite some time, but i've only used it to control the output level at which it has been flawless.

Essential for rackmount Firefaces

I’m using this mainly as a monitor controller with my Fireface UC, as well as to adjust gains and monitor cue mixes when recording in the field. Works great, the build quality is solid and the large number of buttons is really useful. There are a few improvements that I’d hope for, but they have more to do with the Totalmix software. For example, it would be great to be able to combine multiple functions into one button, such as “speaker B” and “mono”. But all in all, the many ways you can custom-program the ARC rivals even much more expensive dedicated monitor controllers.

makes a suprising difference in efficiency

It's something that you never know you need until you get it. Once you get it you can't believe you got on without it.

MUST HAVE FOR RME INTERFACES

total game changer to an RME interface workflow. Can't see myself ever go back. Not using it feels archaic and so slow

Plug and play

RME products are amazing when it comes doing the job. You connect this device with USB and it works, no installs needed. The rotary knob works well and feels good, precise. There are many options and customize buttons in Totalmix, a list of stickers comes with the ARC. It would be awesome if it had an headphone out, I know it is not this type of a device at all, but it would be extra sweet.

10 / 10 RME Just Works

RME for me is the brand that represent what very high standard brand supposed to be. I use fireface, octamic and now I get this ARC USB to control the total mix and it works flawlessly 10/10 plug and play.

I don't even need to ready any manual, it's just works and so easy to assign any button even the additional footswitch to it. Yes it is a bit expensive for this specific type of remote but we don't expect cheap price too for this quality.

One thing to concern (very little concern actually) is when it plugged in and recognized in PC as new device (I'm a Windows user btw), it start to freeze for the first time and did not worked. Surprise me a bit. But all I need to do is just to pull off the usb cable from this remote and then plugging back in, voila! It's works like a charm. Love this product and the brand.

A great remote control for TotalMix.

The ARC USB is a perfect accompanyment to the UFXii, it offers a really simple and easy to use volume control, monitor selector, speaker dim and other functions I havent explore yet. It plugs right into the UFXii, the build quality is good (lost one star for the slightly wobbly plactic buttons - but this is not significant). I like it.

Nice remote for totalmix

Very handy tool, well built, and does what it says, controlling the parameters of your choice in totalmix. Custom mapping of the buttons is the best thing about it, no regrets so far

A must for anyone with TMfx equipped RME devices.

A MIDI controller for Totalmix fx. Built like a tank. This works standalone for UFX+/II and UCXII and connectable via PC USB port for any other TMfx device. Every button configurable. PnP in sleek RME fasion..

Case quality is very good quality metal. The product maintains the German-made criteria in terms of durability :) because it only works on midi-based, you may experience midi disconnection from time to time, but it is very rare. You can solve this by plugging and unplugging the cable. I highly recommend it to those who want to monitor your sound without adding extra color. of course you have an rme sound card :))

Increasing workflow

Bought it with UCXII, works perfectly with it. Very well made and designed. The presets will help the mixing alot. If you have any RME interface, highly recommending.

Simply Great

Connected to a UFX+, they work well together. The UFX+ can be rack mounted and no need to touch it at all, unless you are dealing with cables. The remote has 12 assignable buttons and it is possible to control most of TotalMix necessary functions from it. It is well built and very solid. Great addition to any RME Audio Interface that's compatible with the ARC USB. I recommend this.

A must tool for rme cards

I got the RME UC as an upgrade from saffire pro 26.but on rme everything can be controlled from totalmix so with the help of arc I can assign the buttons to do muting, gain controlling, headphones/monitor volume control and is very handy on all the tasks.

The quality of the unit is solid metal all the buttons have dim lights and the knob is good also.

Its a time saver

top device

I don't have anything bad to say about this controller really. It speeds up your workflow instantly. It took me about half an hour before I figured out how to set it up in Totalmix FX (thanks to the RME youtube channel), but once I had that going, it's easy.

Sizewise it's big enough so you can control it from out of the corner of your eye, very tactile, but small enough as to not take a lot of space on crammed desktops. It's lightweight, built like a Land Rover and works on USB-1 so hardly any CPU-draw. The ability to work with snapshots is a great feature to easily swap between a mixing, tracking or mastering environment.

The big volume control is definitely a plus.
