Rode Wireless GO II
Digital 2-channel wireless microphone system

Latest User Reviews
Great wireless microphones... though iPhone users need the Rode USB cable.
I needed to get hold of these Rode mics for some unexpected light video work with two local radio presenters and journalists at a boat festival in Scotland. The video was played from a laptop, into a Midas M32 and then into a video mixer to a large 4 x 2.5m LED video wall.
Turnaround of videos had to be very quick, so ultimately we decided to buy a set of these so we could edit things quickly using iMovie and export the footage fast, taking laptop computers completely out of the equation when it came to editing.
This device has lots of features including separating the audio to two separate streams on L & R, so you can adjust volume levels independently on the desk. Very handy, so we could apply compression as we needed to each channel.
The only difficulty for iPhone users is the lightning port. You need to purchase the rather pricey USB to lightning cable. Using a USB-C to lightning adapter won't work with the iPhone 14. An adapter may well work with the iPhone 15, but you'll have to do your research.
Go ahead and buy this one
This is one of the most satisfy reasonable price wireless microphone. It’s utilized for any occasion.
Fantastic Mics for travel vlogs
Bought these for making some travel videos which required me to occasionally move away from the camera, or stand behind it. Picks up my voice really well and saves a back-up version on the transmitter just in case. Never had any issues!
Miniature In Size - Maximum In Features (Almost!)
The Rode 2 system is rich in features and very versatile. In addition, if the recordings last for seven hours - presumably with the same 'stamina' of the battery charge then it's Goliath equipment with amazing miniaturisation - but I haven't needed it for this long so is an untested feature. Why the 'almost'? Well for maximum versatility it has a 3.5mm miniature jack for the receiver output - and XLR is catered for with the adapter accessory. Unfortunately it is not possible to convert the 3.5mm mini jack with a 6.35mm jack - a common input connector to many small amplifiers. The usual adapter won't work for some reason. And you can't find any help in the cursory manual, neither online or on any of their videos. This renders a small section of your sound gear redundant. So you have to move away from Rode to other manufacturers. Shame.
Great
Great system. Can even be used in live sound.
Works immediately out of the box
Had to charge all three devices immediately. No real instructions are included, but they are not really necessary.
The audio quality is great for the price, as usual with Rode.
As wit all Rode devices, do make sure you register with them for the extended Warranty.
Perfect wireless microphone
Perfect little microphone set for wireless use in video production, live streaming and such. NOT FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES IN CONCERTS BY NO MEANS :D
The range is good. So far never had any connectivity issues.
What could be better is volume controls as it works in three stages so not very accurate control but that is nothing what cannot be fixed in camera, computer or editing.
Good for interviews or for placing in spots to keep it invisible and pick sound.
You can connect lavs or any 3.5mm mic for that matter if you have anything better than default mics.
Better than gen1 version as it comes with one reciever and two mics which are split L/R sides when using both.
Excellent vfm
Combined with rode lav mic it makes an excellent choice
Good for the price
Very nice features for the small price. They sound good and work well but there are also some glitches with the software and we had trouble connecting them with each other after firmware upgrade. Also the software for unloading the files needs big improvements in order to not be irritating as it is now. Overall these mics are good for their price but you should be careful when using them for paid jobs.
