These claves have a fantastic look, good finish and a very good sound. They are made of rosewood, very hard and dense dark wood which results in an extremely durable and high quality instrument.

When considering claves, for what the product is, one does not need to consider spending too much money on two blocks of wood, but that does not mean one should under estimate the variation of quality of claves. I was told these claves were made out of wood now protected, and you can hear that, it is a beautifully sweet rich and dark tone that does not sound cheap. These are the only claves you should consider buying.
