Really well made and solid, the s-hoop help focus the sound of each drum and make tuning easier. They also create a pleasant profile to the drum because of their flat rim that sits close to the head.

If all drums had this hoops it would be a drum revolution

I just love the S-Hoops, it's a radical change in sound for any drum, my 8" tom has a lot more sustain an depth and it's easier to tune.
