Sadowsky MetroExpress 21 Vintage BLMP

Woooow!

I heard a lot about Sadowsky basses but well, I heard a lot about a lot of brands which I later bought and usually was happy. This is different though. It was similar surprise when I bought baritone danelectro. I would consider it perfect modern bass sound. No need to extra preamp because it has Sadowski preamp inside. Usually I dont like active systems but this is something different. The pickup is passive but preamp is active so you still get the full organic sound that is enhanced by preamp. The preamp is a bit noisy in the active mode but it sounds so good that I almost dont care. Resonance of bass without plugin in is unbelievable. Before I plugged the bass I knew It is going to be something different. The guitar is made well. No bells and whistles yet decent. Marcus Miller guitars are probably better made but I bought it for the sound ( I like buying basses for the look so this is not the case as I dont like the classic fender shape). If the battery runs out it still works on passive mode which is nice fender like sound but million guitars sound like it. The active mode is unbelievable. A yeah, it is really comfortable to play. You might need few days to get used to slightly bigger string spacing. It feels and sounds like an expensive guitar.
