Sadowsky MetroExpress 5-21 Hyb MO TB
5-String Electric Bass

Latest User Reviews
Amazing value for money
I bought a hybrid P/J 5 string Sadowsky Metro Express bass. My first impression was very positive- a nice light weight instrument, supplied with a really well padded Sadowsky gig bag.The centre joined 2 piece body is finished in a lovely sunburst. Running my hand along the edge of the fingerboard found no sharp fret edges, which resulted in a very comfortable feel in the playing hand. The neck initially had slightly too much relief, which was easily resolved by a half turn of the truss rod wheel - using the supplied truss rod tool (a really nice touch).
The sound is great - lovely full sound from the P and J style pickups. The control circuit is very easy to use - volume, pickup blend pot, and the two controls for bass and treble boost respectively. There is also a push / pull pot to allow for the active circuit to be bypassed.
The bridge assembly is really well designed, featuring a quick string release facility. The tuners are Sadowsky branded lightweight units, and are stable with a smooth, positive feel.
