Schecter C-6 Pro FR Charcoal Burst Reviews

One of the best guitars I've ever played.

This guitar is fantastic.

The neck is incredibly smooth and comfortable.

The pickups sound great for a wide variety of genres.

The tuners are good for a guitar of this price.

I thought a Floyd Rose being on a guitar this cheap would lead to some problems, but so far there hasn't been a single issue.

The finish is an acquired taste. I really like it, but some people have said it looks strange to them.

The only real problems I have with this guitar are that;

There is a bit of fret buzz on a few of the frets of the low E string (It's just the E string, all the others are fine).

And unfortunately there are a few marks and dents on the back of the headstock, but you can't really see them unless you're looking for them and they're only cosmetic.

TLDR; Very comfortable, sounds great. Minor cosmetic issues. Great guitar all round

I highly recommend this guitar. It is one of the best I have ever played.

Good But will need some maintenance to be playable

The biggest gripe for me is the action - you really have to fiddle with it in order to be able to play all your favourite fast licks and runs. Other than that - is sounds positively brilliant and the Floyd System works very nicely.

Great rock and heavy metal guitar

EN: I bought this guitar having not so good experience with Floyd Rose bridges, but I set it up properly and it stays in tune like crazy. It looks beautiful, I like the slim shape, poplar burl looks fantastic and the reversed headstock was selling point for me. Black hardware adds even more rock/metal character to it. The pickups (own Schecter "Decimators") sound full and articulate. They can be split, to have more tonal options, but let's be honest - this is not your coutry music guitar ;-)

It sounds fantastic (if you know how to play) and looks even better!

PL: EN: Kupiłem tę gitarę mając niezbyt dobre doświadczenia z mostkami Floyd Rose, ale ustawiłem ją poprawnie i trzyma strój jak szalona. Wygląda pięknie, podoba mi się smukły kształt, top wygląda fantastycznie, a odwrócona główka była dla mnie jednym z powodów zakupu. Czarny osprzęt dodaje jeszcze bardziej rockowego / metalowego charakteru. Przetworniki (własne Schecter „Decimator”) brzmią pełnie i są podatne na artykulację. Potencjometr Push-Pull, pozwala na uzyskanie dźwięku a'la single coil, ale bądźmy szczerzy - to nie jest gitara do country ;-)

Brzmi fantastycznie (jeśli umiesz grać) i wygląda jeszcze lepiej!

Great metal and heavy rock guitar

Really well made guitar. I have many guitars and this is by far the best metal guitar. The neck is slim, fast and the fingerboard is very professional and well made. Tuners are very good quality. Decimator pickups sound awesome and heavy and aggressive. The quality of the finish is very good I couldn’t find any marks or imperfections anywhere. The body is 4 or 5 piece but is very well made. Feels slim and comfortable playing standing and sitting. I have played and used many times and it holds tune very well indeed. I do not really use the floyd rose trem at the moment and it stays in tune fine. The knob raises to go to single coil mode. I think this guitar is exceptional fantastic and awesome for metal. Very good for heavy rock, good for rock and average for other genres. It’s a guitar you don’t want to stop playing because it feels so nice. I think this guitar is a bargain at this price. I have played guitars which cost 300 euros more money and this one is better. It looks cool with the matching headstock. The tremolo seems like it’s good quality. Metal knob and pickup lever good quality. Lockable nut. To me this is simply the ultimate metal guitar. Sounds fantastic and feels great. If you asked me what I didn’t like it would be This guitar is focussed towards heavier genres of music but that’s not really a disadvantage when it does what it’s made for so well.
