I just wanted to make clear that I am not a 7 string player. I play a lot of metal but I did not try to play anything with a 7 string before. So my intention was to pick up something "cheap" but durable until the end of the days (I do not like to buy things to sell it after and buy another "superior" thing). My budget was 700€ and I start to research good options. Jackson, Schecter, LTD, but any of those brands convince me. So I remember that one of my favorite youtubers had his own brand and I thought let's see what other people think about this brand, and yep... I could not find any bad comment about Solar products. The guitar was very well packaged and came out of the box in a very playable condition. I have the BareKnuckle aftermath set in my 6string LTD and in this guitar they sound even better. They sound very resonant, hot, quite punchy but also very clear and articulate. Even if there is no tone know there is quite a lot of sound options with the coil-split and when you engage it you can really get that spanky fenderesque single coil feeling and in all 3 positions the sound is quite different, interesting and unique. The guitar has some pretty clean sounds as well that are very nice and chimey sound. But don't be mistaken when a drive is engaged it just makes you play metal, at least in my case, just makes you want to chug and play modern progy riffs. And it sounds brutal! After the unpacking...

Sound Sound is heavy, sustain almost infinite. I compared this guitar in a studio with Gibson RD - sound was comparable 'demonic', although a little bit different - still if you look for a guitar for devil's music and 7 string - take it! Also, compared it to Ibanez Universe - for me, it feels better (I have small hands) and sounds better - more bright, and the signal from the pickups is strong as from active pickups. One minor thing - I have fingertips visible on the top, so the guy who painted my particular guitar was a little bit clumsy, but it does not influence the playability nor sound, so it's fine. Also, I had to adjust the nut - it had sharp edges and hurt my left hand once. This is a reason I put 4/5 stars on the 'finish' part. Oh! Pickups are...

There's so much I can right about this absolute marvel of an instrument. I play a lot in AEADGB for the sort of songs I love to learn for the likes of Ice Nine Kills and Eskimo Callboy (check these out if you haven't heard them) The Punch of the pickups and the speed of the neck is phenomenal. I'm so impressed with literally every part of this guitar. Out of the box was basically already in tune. Its very hard to believe that for this price you get this much guitar and if like most left handed people how hard it is to find a decent version of anything. This is a must. 10/10 looks, 10/10 sound. Hard to put down. Dont question your decision on this, you wont be disappointed. 10/10 service from the company as well. I'm just about to buy my 2nd Harley Benton from them for my son.

This guitar is packed full of incredible features. The Evertune bridge does exactly what it claims. This guitar never goes out of tune. I've left this alone for months without picking it up and as soon as I plugged it in, it had stayed in tune. The LTD locking tuners aren't the best quality locking tuners I've had, but they do the job, and really they're just there for show as all of the tuning is handled by the bridge. The neck-through construction means you have amazing sustain and high fret access all in one. The neck is incredibly comfortable to play. It's not super thin like an Ibanez neck but it is thin, and it feels perfect in your hand. Realistically, the only con that I can pick out is that I haven't noticed much difference in the two voicings on the Fishman Fluence...

TL;DR A beautifully resonant guitar with excellent sustain and balanced, full tone; the evertune bridge is fantastic; the pickups really are the only issue with this guitar for me. Use: This is intended for live or for studio use. The evertune system has a lot to offer in either scenario. I play extreme metal. Sound: The guitar is very resonant; despite the evertune bridge, single notes and chords ring out for an exceptionally long time. I was concerned over anecdotes about the evertune system hampering sustain. However, it's simply not a problem here though. I was initially attracted to it by its beautiful and unique design. I love the black mate finish and the minimalistic appearance of the fretboard. It was stuck in my mind for months and I am pleased about this purchase. The guitar has all the specs I was looking for (7 strings, ebony fretboard, neck-through-body construction). This guitar is probably the only guitar you will ever need to play modern metal. The payability and ergonomics of the instrument is out of this world. Higher frets are achieved easily. The selling point for me were probably the pickups. I played clean tones, blues, 80s hair metal, modern high gain metal, and it all sounded amazing both in the studio and live. Overall, would definetely recommend this guitar both for professionals and enthusiasts. With its specs and construction, it is far better than most guitars selling for twice the price of this instrument.
