Excellent for price

Pros: -Bridge pickup has really nice clarity, even when tuned down to G -Clean leads -Clean tones incredible, a nice surprise from the active pickups -Wenge fretboard feels great for smooth playing, no sharp fret ends - looks phenomenal, the matte black finish goes great with the yellow stripe Cons: - neck pickup sounds a little weak, not an issue due to bridge's clean leads -didnt come in any way set up, needed to take it to a shop to get the action set

Very Good Guitar For The Price

The instrument feels pretty solid. It plays perfectly fine for the price range, and the tone isn’t bad at all with some processing.

It DJENTS

Pros:

Good looking guitar with pretty decent sound on high gained amp. This is the perfect guitar to play some metal genres with a lot of 0s, djenty riffs and etc. This guitar keeps being tuned for a really long time even if I play really hard. I used it to record an album.

Cons:

Sounds quiet bad on any different genres. The high mids sounds scooped and too much low mids on clean/crunch. It always depends on amp or ampsim but I always ended up by scooping low mids on additional eq. For clean tones you better use a guitar with passive pickups.

I don't think you can get more for the same or less price.

7 String guitar perfect for most of metal and aggressive styles.

Pros:

-active pickups

-not expensive guitar

- that black satin color is beautiful.

Cons:

-The line on the side around the entire guitar, i would say is too yellow. but that's just a taste thing.

- i thought the neck would be more comfortable. anyway it is confortable. but maybe is just a preference if it could be a bit more smooth and not that wide.

Anyway is a monster for "low" price. very happy.

Great 7 string guitar for the price!

I love this guitar! Playing grindcore and metal suits this instrument very well. The pickups are responsive, and the sound it puts out is outstanding. This beast was meant to be played with force and Schecter built an amazing instrument for the genre.

I love it! SCHEC this review!

Got this beauty week ago,

i was on a budget so i realy took my time and checked what should i get for under 500¤. I wanted 7 string and was choosing among Jackson/Ibanez/Schecter ... was a long battle between those 3 companies and at the end, Schecter prevailed. I did choose it only based on good reviews and some youtube tests. Also the looks are unpaired in under 500¤ category, same goes for pickups, this one was the only one for 500¤ that had actives in it. Since i really wanted actives, i choose this one.

I don't regret a thing bout this guitar.

It's built like a tank, came to my country nicely and safetly packed,

already set up pretty good. I will do the setup from 0 soon, though.

Pickups sound solid, cleans with a little reverb and echo go long way, and for the heavier sound? Well, let me say this, on drop A, sound is mean, angry and responsive. I paired this guitar with REVV G3 pedal and custom patch on my Katana 50.

And for this price, guitar is amazing! Sure i would like better pickups, wood and so on.

But for 500¤?

Amazing!
