Amazing feel and sound - somewhat high tension on the strings

I'm in a band where we tune down from standard e4 to b3, and I wanted an extra string over and under for extended range. A tremolo was a must, and because of this, few options are out there for 8-string guitars without getting pricey.

The guitar is awesome. With a slender neck and very smooth fretboard (comfortably wide for the hand), and low action on the strings - it is very easy to play, almost addicting.

The frets are high and the neck is long, but surprisingly none of that is any big issue, although you can feel the extra stretch on your fingers close to the nut (depending the chords).

I decided to return the guitar because of the tension on the strings. The high e-string broke while doing bending. The scale's about 28 inches long which may be an inch too much. One way to resolve this could be tuning lower than standard tuning, but this will sacrifice pitch.

Another minor issue was the body cutaway on the lower side of the neck - the horn of the body curves upwards and the space slightly locks your hand when you play on the highest frets.
