Schecter Omen Extreme 7

This guitar plays alike a much pricier model and was a fantastic buy for the money. The pickups are very powerful and the coil-tapping makes the guitar a very versatile instrument. The mahogany body is complimented by a gorgeous cherry quilt top finish. While it is a very heavy guitar, it is great value for money and a very playable instrument.

Extreme guitar, brilliant price.

I found the build quality of the Omen 7 extreme to be to very high standards for the price i paid for it, the factory setup was brilliant, and it played perfectly with no fret buzzing and no issues at all right out of the box.

As a player of more than one genre of music, i found the split coil tap a brilliant feature, being able to reproduce a tone suited to everything i play was a huge bonus of this guitar.

The stock pickups were again of good quality for something in the low end of equipment pricing, however they can be quite harsh.

I recently heard one of these installed with a crunch-lab in the bridge and the tone's it could reproduce were amazing for the price of the guitar. I would personally recommend the addition of an aftermarket, uprated set of pickups.

I put a lot of research in before buying this guitar and was not let down at all, I would highly recommend it to anyone branching into their first extended range guitar.
