Lovely build with a tinge of fret buzz

I got the guitar and thought it was lovely to hold, nice and light and felt strong without being too bulky. I did have to adjust the neck and the action quite a lot to reduce fret buzz but had to dial this back a bit in order to keep each fret in tune relative to each other/open string. Sounds good through an amp, sounds better through my DAW with an amp sim and eq, and thankfully the fret buzz that’s left doesn’t particularly effect the sound.

Conclusion, it’s a solid guitar with a few kinks, but I’m gonna get a LOT of usage out of it due to its pretty damn good sound.

First 8 string

For the price its an amazing guitar. Pickups arent the best sounding but will change those soon. Another thing is that for some reason the pickup switch turns off when I put it in the middle.

A very good budget guitar from Schecter

This guitar is great for the price.

Pros:

Thin and satin finished neck

No sharp frets.

No flaws in the finish (on the guitar I received)

A nice looking guitar, I am particularly found of the inlays.

Satin finish on the body is nice

Reasonably low action out of the box and strung with good strings.

Seems to stay in tune reasonably well

Pro/Con: Tight string spacing, especially towards the nut.

Cons:

Pickups are a bit muddy

Frets on the guitar I received needed polishing
