Simply excellent

Like all Schoeps mics, you can only expect great things from the Mini CMIT. It has become my main boom mic for exteriors and even for some interiors (when there's not too much reverb, it's still a shotgun after all). The small form factor combined with the bright Schoeps sound makes it a great boom option even for solo work. The humidity issue has also been fixed a couple of years ago so all newer units will perform perfectly no matter what weather you're facing.

New version performs better

After having difficulties with my original purchase during 2020/21 I had the opportunity of field testing a new version which performed better under hostile climatic conditions.
