I love this microphone
I'm not going to lie, I bought it mostly because its black/red style, and I was hoping that it sounds good. Turns out â it does! Great simbilance, good presence in the mids, and a fair amount of base, so the singer doesn't feel like their voice is thinning out. Makes me want to sing and sing more every time I am on it. Mixed style â growl / melodic vocals.
Beautiful
Great alternative to the Sm58. I have both and I can only recommend it.
Really good Mic!
Im very happy with this mic. Very clear, crisp. Good quality. It was recommended to me and after seeing the reviews on here, I thought id give it a try. Very happy with my decision.
Great microphone, sounds open
This mic is a game-changer. Its natural, open sound captures every nuance beautifully. Sturdy build and portable. A must-have for any recording setup.
Goede prijskwaliteit
Zeer zuiver micro gelijkwaardig aan de sm58
nice and bright sounding Mic
recently replaced our singers SM58 with this one, Although it is impossible to compare these 2. I am definitely impressed by the sound quality and sturdiness off the mic.
Super for the price
Over the past 6 months, we made the decision to replace all of our SM58 with SE V7. The super-cardioid makes a big difference when using monitors on stage and the mics really do sound a lot more crisp than a 58. Big fan
Brilliant as usual
An all-black edition (no other difference besides the color) of the acclaimed V7 microphone. If it tells you anything, before getting this one, I had already bought 3 of them in different colors – Regular, Chrome, Vintage Edition – AND a V7 capsule for wireless systems. I love it THAT much. The V7 It produces a highly detailed and clear sound which easily cuts through the mix when used on my vocals. The price-quality ratio makes is must-buy in my books.
The best for live performances!
Got the pair of those for my band. Primary for rehearsing and live performances. I've had experience with many other microphones and manufacturers, but SE V7 deserves a special highlight among those. The frequency response sounds smooth without any outstanding resonances on any type of vocals and I'd like to point out very understandable vocal articulation with it. The greatest thing I like about the microphone is the nice high-frequency balance. And the microphone's outfit looks beautiful too.
Quality for less
While on holiday in Lanzarotte, sitting in the Africa Bar listening to a duo sing on stage, being in the music business myself, I said the vocals sounds excellent and such clarity and carry, mids, highs and bass of their vocal blended so well together, I got talking to one of the musicians and he told me about this mic of very reasonable price and sounds excellent for them he said, also to note that this mic is widely used, so I decided to purchase and I have to agree, it is a great all round mic for the price and me being a baritone/tenor I love this mic, all I can say is yes for the price it's definitely worth an hour on stage, like all youtube videos your never really told that this is the one to go for, you really have to try it for yourself....
Excellent microphone, many times better than shure sm58 in sound.
Great, clear and warm sounding dynamic mic.
I realized that I needed to get a dynamic mic to practice with before I start playing live. There were a few obvious choices like Shure's SM58, SM57 and a few others. I noticed at some point that a lot of artists that I look up to were using the SE V7 which made me check it out. The V7 has a clean and clear sound with a present high end and warm lows. I was never a fan of the midrange sound of the SM58 and it just feels like the V7 was made for people like me. Great mic and good sound rejection, only wish the plosive rejection was better. Would recommend overall.
Melhor Custo x BenefÃcio do Mercado
Excelent product
Great quality product.
I use it often for female vocals, and back vocals. Very warm sound.
Also I like to use it for speaches.
My recomendation.
THE live vocal microphone I will be using
Given the choice, I would rather use this as a live vocal mic than anything else. It gives the truest to life sound I have heard and complements most voices. Some dynamic mics (SM58 for example) can colour the sound in an odd nasal and "dry" way in which this one simply doesn't.
Previously, my favourite mic for my voice was a Beyerdynamic Soundstar, which are now vintage. The sound is exactly what I like, but it has a high noise floor and the grille is pretty fragile, not to mention the tiny switch which stays taped on on mine. This tops that in every way. The hype is real, and I see no reason anyone should be purchasing an SM58 just because it is industry standard when this is on the market for a cheaper price.
The wondeful V7, now in all black! Perfect.
A more neutral take on the increasingly popular V7 from sE electronic. Same microphone, different colour. If you're familiar with the V7, this won't be any different.
Sounds amazing and very detailed. Quite flat, I'd say. Definitely much better than the "standard" 58, especially in the low-end. It also extends very high, giving it a natual airiness.
The grille has a hexagonal shape to prevent the mic from rolling, if its put on a surface, which is quite nice and will probably save some dents.
The built quality feels sturdy enough, I guess. But the competitors (shure, sennheiser) just feels a little more premium, though I have no doubt this will last a very long time.
Maybe it's the way the capsule is suspended? It feels fragile, I think.
And as a lot of people has mentioned, it smells quite weird in the beginning (probably because of the rubber suspension holding the capsule) so it might be a little disconcerning. How I've found using it a few times on stage doing full concerts, it goes away.
Also, one negative would be the plosive and handling noise. Handling is average at best. But the plosives are really quite noticable if you haven't got a trained signer/speaker. The SM58 and others just do it much better imo.
This is all made up for in the sound quality, though! Certainly for the price.
All in all, very nice mic. A very modern mic, that outperforms the competition in the price class, especially in sound quality/clarity and feedback rejection. And now with even better looks.
Wow
This microphone is amazing quality for the pice, Also the one thing that stand out is the build quality is outstanding, The look is just new and modern, Highly recommended
