Doesn't sound like the orginal HD 25

I have the original HD 25-1 (made in Ireland) and listened -vs- this new pair. The oiginal sounds much more balanced, clear, and less hyped in the low end. I really thought it would sound the same. Too bad.

They say it's the "classic HD 25", but the sound signature is completely different. This new pair has a modern "bad headphones" smeared sound. It's hard to tell where anything is sitting in a mix. Everything is just in your face with a huge unnatural bass that is super hyped and not accurate at all.

My old pair has lasted for 10+ years of use. It sounds much, much more accurate when listening to reference tracks that I know.

Really too bad. I wonder why Sennheiser, and other brands think people who could use this in a studio or even for DJ use would want to hear the bass so incredibly wrong. These headphones are getting returned.

Garbage

Barely lasted me a year... Left speaker just dropped dead, all of a sudden.

This is my second HD25. First one, I had to buy replacement cable, wich didnt last much longer than original cable.

But now the speaker! After only a year, and always treating these headphones with great care!

Sennheiser is just an overpriced shadow of what it certainly used to be. I am DONE with this pathetic brand.

Modern Classic

Classic workhorse for mixing, producing and deejaying. You can occasionally find Cristiano Ronaldo using it during his first post match itw at Man U. It's everywhere & for a reason

Le casque ultra polyvalent !

Possédant un casque Sony et Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO, il me fallait un casque plus facile à transporter, plus léger, plus discret et avec une qualité audio égal à Beyerdynamic pour pouvoir faire des prises de son à l'extérieur.

Ce casque offre une superbe isolation des bruits extérieur, il est donc beaucoup plus confortable d'entendre uniquement ce que l'on enregistre via le micro.

Utilisation en train pour écouter de la musique sans déranger, en concert pour les mixages au casque, ce casque est ultra polyvalent !

Si je n'avais qu'un seul casque à choisir celui-ci serait mon choix !

Mine just arrived today and have tested them out for a few hours on my Denon Prime 2 and laptop and can only recommend these for all DJ's.

These are perfect for mixing and I can see why so many people speak good about them. All the levels are equally balanced allowing for the perfect transitions. My only concern is the small wire but that can be fixed by buying the extra coiled wire.

The big plus about these are that all parts can't be bought and repaired, you can even find places that customize them for your liking.

Comfortable, great sound, well designed, nice customization - rotatable ear cup, split headband and moving the ear cups up and down for different head sizes. Very light.

Simply great for Dj'ing.

One of the best dj headphones on the market

I'm using mainly for djing. Headphones sound a little mid to me, which is very useful for mixing especially in loud environments. You can really feel the punch and perfectly mix the tracks. However, after a while there is a slight lost of signal happened to the left side and sound get lost sometimes. I think it is happening because of the rust formed between joints.

Great headphones for this price

I use it for my drummer on live performances and also in my studio for recording & mixing.

cons: they are small and you have to adjust them on your ears well

I can use these for listening, DJing and producing and the sound is very good in all areas.

Fantastic sound quality and very comfortable. Useful for mixing and monitoring - I also use mine directly into synths for practicing.

Pros - Pleasing sound and very precise

Best money ever spent

I got these as my first DJ headphones, although I was hesitant because I wear glasses and the on-ear design was expected to be uncomfortable.

The headphones are very comfortable, isolate noise and clamp really well. I liked everything about them and I'm excited to use them for many years to come.

Super "HD25" reliable headphones!

Super reliable headphones either you are playing in a small club or a big festival! (Don?t buy the light version...just add a couple more € and you will get headphones for life)

Also, easy to replace parts if anything gets damaged, as earpads, cable, etc...

Love these headphones..

Dont usually spend a lot of money on headphones but decided i was going to buy them once i had some spare cash. Really glad i did now because they sound great, tested them with a couple of dance songs im familiar with and theres a drastic improvement in the sound compared to my other cheaper headphones.

The sound isolation is awesome, once your music is on you dont hear anything around you. Split headband also stops them from sliding off if you move around a lot.

The only downside to them is they are a bit tight on the head at first but that might loosen out over time. That wont appeal to some people.

amazing headphones for little money

The headphones are really good, great in loud environments as the outside noise isolation is amazing. The bass on these headphones is outstanding! Highly recommend!

Trop de basses

Beaucoup trop de basses et de low-mid. Trop stéroïdé. Et totalement inconfortable. Impossible pour moi de bosser avec ça.

Amazing!

Using these for sound design and post production and I can't fault them. An amazing all-round option for sound work, I have also used these for music production and the clarity across the frequencies is really amazing. The fit is odd at the start as they seem quite tight, but it just takes some getting used to the adjustments you can make, and I would recommend taking the time to do this as if they are not fitting right they can get uncomfortable after a long period! It's also so useful to be able to flip the left headphone up, it means they are versatile for both in-studio work and live settings. The noise isolation is also great for how light and comfortable they are.

Big recommend!!!
