If overheats - stays turned on

I use them as front blinders, once I used them instead of front par cans, and it realy wasn't great idea, if you let them shine for too long, it will overheat and it will cause them to stay turned on even if you dimm them. So after this I decided to modify them with thermal fuse so i dont run into same problems ever again.

Overall good product, just dont let them full on for longer periods...

Bright as hell

Nice light but i have a bug. Sometimes the light gets stuck on, and the only way to turn it of is to kill the power for a while.

Pro:

Very bright for size

cons:

Not much other than what mentioned above.

Exactly what you'd expect

Pros:

comes with lamps, good housing. Multiple rigging points.

Cons:

Silicon cable on incomer is prone to damage if not treated well.

Dimmer curve a bit slow from cold (possibly no pre-heat)

Overall:

The price of this unit is a major draw. The next best option for me is the HQ power version (which has a faster response time). However, with the lamps being included in the Showtecs price, it becomes a negligable problem. Sure, when mixed with other makes you notice the sluggish reaction time, but in sets of just these, they are fantastic.
