this is a gooooood set, only the mic is crap :D so mybe it would be good to buy it without the mic, and get another one :P the range is good sound is good, no complaints, mybe a litlle hiss from time to time, but its not disturbing, on/off and volume, all u need. good quality for the price, the reciver is really sturdy, the belt pack also like the akg pro but with less functions :D i will be buying one handheld, cuse i think its a good product and would recomend it to some amater and other sound system users battery life is also great, it just works and works, love it

Since the headset shares the model of receiver with hand-mic, I will share my thoughts on headset specific things here - please look for ANT UNO G8 HDM review as well. Pros: 1. Good sound - very good and not bass-less, as a typical condenser mic. Great for speech and good for singing as well. 2. Sturdy construction, comfortable, and easy to use. 3. Good transmitter holder clip. Cons (or suggestions) 1. If you clip it low on the back, the transmission range will be shorter (depending on the receiver placement), but still, it will be enough for a normal venue - test some placements of receivers and you will get used to what works best. 1800 Mhz do not travel around objects that well. Still, I had no interference and dropouts. 2. Test out gain and output level on the receiver before real use...

When I bought this microphone I had my doubts what it would be like considering the price! But I can now say that I'm delighted with it! I'm now using this microphone for product demos and cookery demonstrations. The audio that you get from the microphone is clear and audible and you would think it's a high name brand. A slight clicking noise can be heard when nobody is speaking through the microphone but by turning down the volume on the mixer this sound will disappear! There is also a very good range on the unit and it goes through walls no problem. If you want an easy to use microphone for a simple budget then this is the one for you!!!

My ratings are "price considered", this little set has far surpassed my expectations for sound repro. My wife teaches big classes in big rooms, she has a gentle voice so needs some voice assistance and have both hands free, this little mic set fits perfect. It also recharges over her lunch break. At this price and "clicks apart" quickly & easily for her pocket, I think its un'beatable. Bigger name mic sets need mains power and time consuming wire hook ups for the base unit. My wife loves it.
