Excellent in this category

I'm a drummer. I've been using them for many years. fit perfectly in the ears. good sound. excellent quality. I picked up a second pair for my studio. I recommend it to all drummers who want to enjoy using it without overpaying

Excellent value for money

I used these as in-ears for a full tour playing festival stages with a band and they worked perfectly. They cut through all the on stage noise so I could hear myself and click tracks clearly. By the end of a one hour set they were becoming a bit uncomfortable.

Have also used them whilst out and about in town and the sound is decent, and was able to go longer before they become uncomfortable.

great, need some fiddling with

i work as a boomman, use them for IEM, with the yellow plugs they are pretty comfortable, but overall lacking bass, wich in is important for handling noise detection

Decent, but not perfect

Great product, have been using these professionally for a few years. If you are aware of their limitations they will do the job. Probably wouldnt reccomend them for bass players, drummers and vocalists maybe but great if you dont need alot of low end definition and want to get in the IEM game for cheap.

Can't beat em

Solid Shure product as usual. They sound great for most purposes including live performances. Downside is the cable, I have to replace it once a year at least, thats expected as we use em a lot.

Great sound, a bit difficult to use

The sound is really great. Deep frequencies tend to distort (e.g. hitting my 16" tom), but apart from that, no problems. Sound from outside is almost muted, which means you don't have to turn the volume up very high to hear everything very clear. Only issue is that it takes some time to mount them the correct way in your ears the first 3-4- times you use them (if you haven't used in-ear before). The cable to the receiver/battery box is of course a bit annoying as well. Would have been perfect if 100% wireless.

Decent Sound.

Great Noise Cancelling.

Decent Sound Quality.

I never gig without them.

I prefer the sound quality of over-ear headphones, but cant handle the sweat!

These In-Ears are a nice balance between comfort & quality.

Shure SE215-CL

I'm (quite successfully) using these in-ear headphones for rehearsals and live shows. Only issue I've got is that, ever since receiving them, the sound in the left earphone tends to disappear/reappear based on my head movements (to the left or to the right), which isn't very cool. Other than that, I've really got no complaints, they do their job wonderfully and are quite rugged and flexible.

PROS

- the cable is long and flexible

- the clarity of the sound is good

- they isolate sounds efficiently

- they come with a carrying bag and interchangeable ear buds, in a good array of sizes

CONS

- most of the time, the sound in the left earphone cuts off; might just be my earphones, might not

All in all, an affordable and quite reliable pair of earphones, that will get you nicely through rehearsals and live shows and that you can also use for music when you're out and about.

noice

great earphones, very good noise isolation, the sound quality is clear but I feel does lack a bit of the lower end

Struggling here!

I wouldn't doubt the sound quality or build but really uncomfortable fit no matter what size plugs I used. They either muffle everything in bass completely or keep falling out.

good budget in ears

Really happy with these, the sound is very clear and not bass saturated. I would not recommend to people with small ears as they are hard to but nicely on.

Very good value for money, the sound is a bit muddy when compared to studio monitors or big headphones but for stage monitoring they are perfect, also very durable.

I like these in-ears a lot in every term except comfort

I like these in-ears a lot in every term except comfort, I'm not sure if it's because my ears are to small or what, I use them to play drums with a metronome and a metal band, but they're always falling off every 5 minutes or so, and when they're not falling off, the inside of my ear starts to hurt for some reason, I use the smallest black ear sponge they come with, the more rubbery ones I can't keep them in for more than 2 seconds. Other than that they sound pretty decent and isolate the sound pretty well.

Best price - quality

I'm a singer and use this for live vocal IEM.

For the price it does the job well enough. Custom made IEM probably cancel the outside noise a bit more and more expensive models have a better low end response. But overall the sound quality is sufficient and had no problems whatsoever concerning the built quality.

i bought these to use for rehearsing and playing gigs. As a drummer the isolation, built quality and the need for them not to fall during performance where important and Shure SE215-CL delivered. Might not sound as good as the more expensive models but it will do what it s designed for

Quite good headphones

I use these for my in-ear wireless equipment & the gave me the sound quality I needed. They are not easy to get into place but once the are there it is fine. If you get rather sweaty from stage lights then they tend to slip out of my ear so they need a push every now and then to stay in place. But as a generic solution to fit all ears then it is as good as they come

Good entry inears for all musicians.

very basic inears. I use them with drums and they do everything I ask for.

Not preferable model when it comes to listening to music on the go but for this price, they would always be my first pick for any live performance.
