Shure SE425-CL 5-stars Reviews
Endlich passende IEM ...
Complaint from partner!
The sound isolation from these in ears is so good I can here GF - Bought for stage environment but loving them for at home use - With FLAC music on phone they are beautiful. Cant wait to try them with live sound :-)
Great quality for the price
I use this on a daily basis with my TD-27. It's my first pair of in ear headphones so can't really make a comparison but it's performed great for recording and rehearsals. Noise isolation is actually very VERY good.
For my personal taste, the cable length could be a bit longer but that's just me.
I totally recommend this product!
Great sound and comfort.
The best sounding earphones I've bought. Lovely crisp highs and punchy bass. Excellent as in ear monitors.
In-ear monitors for rehearsal
Bought these earphones for monitoring during rehearsals & live.
They sound very good overall, good headroom and decent audio reproduction.
Perfect entry to IEMs
I needed a basic IEM for some of the projects I do and these just work well. The sound is absolutely great for my needs. They come with a variety of generic buds for your ears, but can be upgraded to a custom mold. I also like that the Shure IEMs can be serviced and replacement parts purchased if necessary, but so far after 6 months of use all is still well and I'm happy with the product.
Using on drums
Very good sound insulation when I am drumming. Good sound on frequency spectrum. I hate boomy bass.. I hear fat bass but not boomy. Crystal clear mid nd highs. Very nice sound for snare, kick, bass and guitar. I use at home for practicing or on stage like inear.
Great headphones
Totally changed the way I hear myself on stage and how I perform. Great sound!
Best headphones I've ever bought
I've used these both live and in the studio for monitoring, and I must say, the clarity is amazing. You hear all components of the mix from the bass up to the cymbals no problem. The plugs have a perfect seal, blocks almost all noise or sound on the stage, you won't have a problem with your ears ringing after your gigs anymore after buying these.
Fantastic for the price!
Use;
Normally I use these as ear protection at live shows and rehearsals, but I recently had the opportunity to use these as IEM's and I was honestly blown away with how well they sound.
Clarity
Brilliant sounding once you get the mix right.
pros & cons
The only thing I don't like is that the cable is long enough for me personally. This wouldn't be a problem for most other users.
Perfect mid price IEM earphones
Lovely clear sound even at high levels of PA / on-stage noise... every vocal and instrument clear... perfect IEM headset for mid-price range
Impressive
Best inear ever medium level . Good sound quality and good construction.
Great for guitar
I use them as a guitar player and love their midrange presence. If weared correctly the bass are balanced (not so present). Great isolation and confort
It doesn't matter how you use this
It doesn't matter how you use your earphones. These are really good to listen just music or use these as an in ear monitors on stage. Very good to hear everything. Price for this product is right and I suggest everybody to choose this ones' instead of more expensive ones.
I like that earphones has a bag with them. Otherwise it is really easy to lost them.
Buy shures and you doesn't regret.
Unfortunately I forgot my earphones to an Airplane and now I need to save some money to buy new ones!
Shure SE425-CL - fantastic sound
I bought these to replace my broken Klipsch in-ears and these have been fantastic - lovely balanced sound at all frequencies. They reveal all musical details with a very open reproduction, but be warned if any of your ripped music collection is anything other than excellent quality!
Very comfortable too, with good passive noise cancellation levels.
One drawback for me: the supplied cable is quite stiff and therefore gives lots of cable noise if you are moving around.
SE-425
Very neutral sound and good noise-canceling in-ear monitors. Se-425 are so comfort and well sounding that i enjoy listening music even when I'm not on stage. Good selection of pads are included, so you can just choose whats fits for you best.
Wow
Have a play with the supplied tips (there are eight sizes across four styles) for the right seal, give a chance for burn-in (extremely noticeable within just a few hours), give them source material of a worthy resolution, and you'll be amazed you got such a bargain.
These IEMs, with the right tips on, are incredibly comfortable, have good isolation, and amazing levels of detail for sub-£200 IEMs even from my unamped iPhone 4S (mind blowing through my Schiit stack and laptop). Chuck a WAV copy of Fleetwood Mac - The Chain through them and you can hear Lindsey "du-du-du"-ing under his breath to get the rhythm when kicking off the song on his guitar (strange description; just get hold of pair of these and find out for yourself what I mean!).
Highly recommended.
Exceptional neutral in-ear monitor
Having come from bassy phones like the SE215 and Beyer's DT770, I never though I'd love a pair of headphones with such a neutral signature so much.
Though not quite as comfortable as the SE215s (you may have some fit issues with small ears) they still fit snugly and aren't irritating after any period of time.
Having become accustomed to their neutral signature, I find myself now unable to listen to bassier phones since the whole frequency mix seems unbalanced.
They do however fall off slightly at the high end which costs them a bit of detail up there but also makes them less fatiguing to listen to.
The level of detail on instruments they provide is superb and accurate, the build quality is good, they're comfortable, the soundstage is pretty good for in-ears...
If you're looking for a pair of neutral in ears for reference listening or just portable use, this is exactly what you're looking for.
Great quality headphones - almost like moulded.
I tried a friend's SE215s before I bought these and they were literally the best headphones I'd tried, especially for just how much noise they cancelled out. I opted for the SE425s as they were within my price range and I wasn't and remain not disappointed. Despite not having 'noise-cancelling' built in, the fit is incredibly snug and they come with a range of various tips so you can choose whichever option you feel most comfortable with.
They do get a bit of getting used to in terms of comfort, purely because most other 'normal' headphones don't go into the ear as much as these do, without buying a set of mouldies, however the SE425s also have a really useful tightening slider which means they remain firmly in place, exactly how you want them to be.
A really great set of headphones soundwise as well, the dual drivers provide well enough pump for the bass, you don't need to turn up the volume very much at all. And let's face it, who really needs more than two drivers?
I'd recommend them for anyone looking to buy a pair of £200 in-ear monitors or even general headphones. I tried some Atomic Floyd headphones the other day (also around £200) and they were shocking for the price - great packaging, but a poor sound quality, they didn't stay in the ear and a shoddy cable. The SE425s have a really durable cable as well which doesn't look set to break anytime soon.
Great headphones basically! Just make sure you turn your phone to silent when walking around or there's absolutely no chance you'll hear it…!
