An Absolute Beast

For a tiny package, this thing can hold its own against any transistor amp in the gain department. For my own personal taste, putting a Tubescreamer in front of it pushes it right into the sweet spot of raunchy, saturated yet articulated gain. My goodness this thing can crank with a slant 2x12.

Unbelievable little thing. Not just loud, but juicy as well.

Couldn't use the loop since it doesn't work with a load connected (I am recording silent with IRs). Still, taking the Send to the IR player works perfectly. Not very versatile, as expected, but the sound is ridiculously close to its bigger brother. A highly suggested keeper.

Awesome high-gain tone!!

Don't know how it compares to the real deal... but this thing is incredible.

I use it as a preamp and slave it to a tube power amp with exceptional results and a fantastic high gain tone.

Mind you the overdrive mode is quite noisy so the best solution IMHO is to use the crunch channel with an OD pedal in front. This way you can have two sounds low/high gain easily inter-changeable.
