Love it

A very good sounding microphone at a super affordable price. I owned a 2X before, and this newer version is great for a lot of applications, especially since its figure-of-8 pattern allows one to do a blumlein array with 2 mics. I've used it a lot on vocals, acoustic guitar, drum overheads, Hammond organ's Leslie speaker and various room sounds and I've always been very happy with the results.

The only thing I would improve is the shockmount: the rubber bands stretch too much especially when using it horizontally (e.g. on drum OH) and therefore I needed to put some paper or cloth between the mic and the shockmount to keep it from touching the metal.

The mic itself is just fine though! Very solid too

One of the greatest mics in the price range!

I tried this mic on lots of sources. Voice (male and female), acc guitar, drums (in front of kick, mono room mic, OH...), sax, double bass... I was never disappointed!

It will give you some of that "3D" sound that is common for expensive mics and will really stand it's ground alongside much more expensive mics. For the money, I really do not see any cons in this mic.
