Too complicated for me

Found it hard to mess with the program to find the sound i want, should have bought a boss alternative

complicated but good

its a digital processor in a pedal form. tracking is good. handling parameters not so much. built quality is very good. seems to me its should have easier solution for navigating patches but other than that if you want to sound out of space this pedal can do that

If you want something really diferent...

It seems like the possibilities to construct your own unique sound are almost infinite within this pedal.

Unlimited sound combinations

I was looking for a synth pedal for my bass but at the same time I wanted something unique to play around. This checks all the boxes.

I can store "only" 6 sounds to be easy accessible but I can create and store in the memory 128 sounds to play around with but then the pedal has to be connected to my PC or smartphone.

It requires a lot of reading and experiments to create your own sound but it is totally worth it. On the other hand at the moment there are already 6750 uploaded sounds from other users in the cloud that you can store in your pedal. Good luck if you want to go through all of them. The list is huge.

What Source Audio has created here is pure fun for people who like to experiment and be creative with their sound.

Some sounds are a bit "cold and dry" but it is up to you to change them.

The biggest disadvantage is that there is no built in bluetooth to be able to connect it to your smartphone. The connection can be done only with a cable. That is a bit of a disappointment.

If you are willing to spend some time with it go for it otherwise choose a more straight forward boring pedal.

Awesome, but so restricted without the phone

If you are not using it paired to the app and the phon you can barely use 10% of waht this beast is able to offer.

And no, the phone does not conect wireless, you ahve tyo have it plugged to the pedal.

Great

Very very fun to play! It takes quite a bit of time to get used to it and get set properly with it. I would really recommend to read through the manual and see all the settings and how to change it.

The app that comes with it to make custom sound is good, but is hard to use. To really optimize and get the most out of the pedal, you will really have to study it and take your time learning it. I would say that you also need to see tutorials online if not cause it is hard to understand.

The packaging is pretty neat but bulkier than I thought it would be. Another problem is that it can't really differentiate octaves very well and might just give you the same sound if you play an octave of a root note with nothing in between.

Overall really good pedal, so much fun!! Works really good for bass and guitar.

Amazingly capable bass synth - but you need to be willing to learn

The presets are a nice example of what this thing can do but, to get the best out of it, you need to be willing to learn how to use subtractive synthesis. And it is absolutely worth it!

There are plenty of presets made by other people, which you can download, and these explore yet further possibilities - from kalimba+flute, to a remarkably aggrotech-compatible growling sound. Use these as they are, or as inspiration and jumping-off points.

It will take you a very long time to reach the limits of what it can do.

The tracking is startlingly good, as long as your muting is good enough. If it's not, well, now you have a reason to work on it :)

It even keeps up with slide guitar and fretless bass!

Cons? It's _mostly_ monophonic, so your options are limited if you want to play chords through it.

However, since it's basically a Spectrum filter pedal with a synth section bolted on, you could always play a HOG2 through it...
