Excellent bass, but setup not great

Loads of tones and very easy to play. The nut and action are a small bit lacking in my opinion. Required a full set up to be really playable

Great Bass for the money!!!

I needed an inexpensive bass for my home studio and I chose this instrument.

My expectations were fully met.

Just a great instrument.

p.s. It's a pity it doesn't come with a case, but then it would be more expensive.

A good, playable bass

It doesn't take much to get a good bass sound. This is that much.

great begginner bass

I've had this for a few months now and i'm happy to say this bass is exactly what i wanted.

I'm a guitar player who wanted a bass to complete my recordings, and it does the job perfectly. The smaller scale feels really compfortable switching between bass and guitar.

The great thing about this bass (appart from it's excellent looks) is the controll you have over the pickups. Individual tone and volume controlls for both means you can get all sorts of tones.

Overall great bass, would highly recommend !

No dissapointment here

I must say I am a keyboard player - I bought Jaguar Bass for fun and with a bit suspicion regarding quality. But no, the quality is actually well above my expectation.

My Jaguar was set perfectly right from the box, no need to touch anything. The sound is surprisingly rich with wide range of possibilities.

I love almost everything about this instrument, the 32" neck is perfect for me, the looks, the finish. The weight is a bit less than 4kg so it is not light, nor too heavy.

I am not huge fan of nested volume and tone controls, would prefer classic jazz bass arrangement, however that is my personal preferrence. The tuners have a bit of cheap feel, otherwise they work flawlessly. The bridge also looks a bit light but obviously does the job just fine.

So, for this kind of money, look no further!

Great instrument, poor tuners

Overall, this is a fantastic bass and well worth the money.

Fretwork, build quality, fit and finish are all excellent. Comparing it to my 2018 CV 70's P-bass, it's just as good in those aspects. My particular bass is very light, around 3.5kg. The pickups are good and the controls versatile, giving a wide range of possible tones. I am happily surprised by the 32" scale length (it was originally listed as 34" at the time I pre-ordered it, but it is in fact 32"), it's really fun to play and sacrifices nothing in tone.

The tuners let the side down, however. They are poor quality and it shows ("grindy" and inconsistent in feel), I recommend to upgrade them as soon as you get it.

Still well worth it, though, it's a great instrument and I'm really enjoying mine!
