This little DMX controller does what it says on the tin. It is small and compact enough to keep in your bag to get you out of any tricky situations that may arise. It is a simple and idiot proof controller. We've used it for those small gigs where a full lighting desk is not needed, but it is also good for testing lighting fixtures in the warehouse before they go out. Not let us down yet.

good choise

One of the channels got burned after certain use. I've got a new one with the guaranty. For the prize is an excellent choice, light, portable, practical.

Tiny but Mighty

This unit does what it should , it dims ! It doesn't change the world but it makes it a slightly less annoying place . If you want bells and whistles pay more money if you want functional this is perfect !

DMX desk

Safe for young operators

I have now purchased 3 of these little controllers, so that in itself is a high recommendation.

I gave one of these to the local primary school to operate a series of LED light panels. Even the children (aged 5 to 11) found it easy to use and extremely safe. I like the fact that the unit contains its own power supply (battery) so no powerpoint and plug required near the operator. Note though that an external power adaptor is supplied should you prefer. The battery lasts a long time but I'm a little dissapointed that to change the battery the case has to be unscrewed rather than just a sliding compartment door, but again this adds to the safety when operated by minors.

All the controls moved fluidly and the master control is a boon. They feels sturdy and all are still working perfectly after a number of years use. I prefer to use a number of these rather than a more complicated lighting desk.

Cheap & simple, but still it works

I bought this controller for that idea, that it's simple to use for anyone. I didn't need any special features, just simple controller with basic RGB faders. This is also very light weight and small and faders are robust. If you need controller which is simple, cheap, light weight and small buy this one. It has work very well and I don't have any bad words of it.

Life saver

This little controller it is very handy and practical, it is pocket size and also battery operable, good for checking dmx channels on the fly, and few times saved me when the main console go out off order in the middle of he show

A very basic, DJ proof controller

Great to give to a DJ to operate the lighting, can be used by even the simplest of humans.

Desk is well built and has lasted quite well being thrown in and out of clubs on a regular basis, as well as installed.

It would be nice if it had wall mounting capabilties, and very annoying having a euro transformer on it, would be nice to have the UK option.

The screws holding the XLR socket are stripped

Sturdy metal casing, controls smooth, does what it says in the instructions except the XLR socket screws holding it to the case were stripped and had to install threaded screws and nuts, disappointing.
