For the price it's unbeatable, it has more than enough output, even for some outdoor events. Used 2 of them at a rave in the middle of nowhere paired with 4 Eurolite Led tmh-17 and 12 20w LED PARs, when the smoke hit they were perfect

Unreliable

Weak red laser. Occasional use in dedicated room. Never moved once installed. Stopped working after under a year of use. Buy a more powerful and expensive laser.

Very good laser, metal construction, very satisfied, i wok it with dmx , good beam and patterns, i highly recommend it

This is a little beauty great color and works a dream recommended in fact ordered more another green and now a blue one full on lazer show

Don't buy for clubs

This must be designed for bedrooms. Not a very good laser.

I purchased this laser and although it works well the light output is good , the effects given aren't much to be desired for they look a bit like a childs drawings, also you have to purchase an external switch for this which isn't mentioned anywhere.

This laser is good but the only problem is that you have to buy a safety remote!

Good..until it stops working

This laser was amazing but after maybe 4 gigs it just stopped working the laser weakened and then it would not turn on and I handled it like glass. Good Lazer, Bad shelf life seemingly.

Very good

I purchased this laser for small mobile discos and rose above my expectations despite how small it is it is packed with features and very bright for 150mw the fan isn't very quiet but the second you have music or people talking you can't hear it. Very good laser packed with features and amazing for the price

Good light shame about the brightness

when i first got the light i was very impressed with the build quality and the fact that stairville also included a remote in order to control features without using dmx which can be quite useful. When i first plugged the light in it made a loud noise and then went quiet with just the sound of the fan but when i looked at the light output i was not very impressed even for a red laser i expected it to be a bit brighter.

Great little red laser

This is a great little portable laser effect for most events. With a heap of pre programmed patterns and effects, it is easy to use, either in auto, music or DMX mode.

The DMX mode has a lot of good, useful features, such as control of which pattern to run. You can even set it to run in auto or music mode via the DMX channels. Very handy in some situations!

It also has support for direct control of the XY axis, so you could technically make your own patterns with a bit of patience and time.

To summarize, great little red laser. Professional build, perfect for small/medium venues, or large venues when using multiple! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get cheap, good quality lasers!

Use these with care, as they are powerful lasers. They can result in permanent eye damage if used recklessly!

Couldn't be happier!

This light is awesome. It really throws the beams out there. Don't be fooled by the size. The light is small, but is a great effect to my light show!

I have had this unit for over 1 year and use it weekly. It still works perfectly. It is a very solid unit. It has a good amount of weight to it for being so small. Works great with smoke.

If you want to get creative with the remote and change the effect during a song you know the beat to, you can make a great effect.

Definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for good quality laser.

Entry level product, but hard to beat by list price!

I bought this for a disco at my local school and its working fine and making everyone happy since installation :) Really nice switchable laser patterns. Has beat recognition in “sound” mode, or just put it into Auto mode for a pre-programmed random show.

Found it easy to operate – switching between sound (microphone), DMX and remote modes. Remote control is not the best quality, but hey – it's really nice added feature at this price.

I strongly recommend using it in combination with smoke machine - then you'll be able to fully enjoy the view from this laser.

Of course this is a budget and entry level product, but to be honest at this list price it’s really hard to fault.

Great!

This is a fantastic basic model that shoots a variety of shapes and patterns against the wall/ceiling/floor. It feels well built and has a pretty good laser. The DMX and separate remote control are also very nice features - making it very quick to set up at a gig. I would definitely recommend purchasing a smoke machine with it as this will really make the show come to life! My only one criticism is that the fan is a little noise although when running with the band playing, this makes no difference.

Waste of time unless its for your bedroom

I have a few stairville items and always been happy, not this time. This laser is so poor and weak my cheap chinese dot laser had more effect. It looks the part, with key lock, digital dmx and even a safety loop. I used it at the weekend and even with a little smoke it was lost, no real beams or effect. All it was good for was drawing random, jittery patterns on the floor. Something a crab laser can do for a fraction of the price. Not happy at all.
