The transparent plastic glass is very weak. We bought 4 led bars and they only lasted for a few months because the transparent plastic glass has broken very easily. We put the bars on the floor and sometimes people step on them accidentaly. Also, the black margins are made from weak plastic. Maybe they can last if you put them on the wall or something but if you use them a lot you shouldn't spend your money on this model. We had Eurolite led bars that lasted for 6 years before we bought these ones and they still work perfectly, without the transparent plastic to break and believe me, they were smashed, steped and all kinds of things happened to them. They were made from a very resistent transparent glass and metal edges but they I didn't find them on the website anymore. Too bad... Eurolite were great ! I hope we can find spare parts...
