Good for the price

I bought 4 of these a couple of years ago. Things I like 1. Simple to use 2. DMX capable 3. Useful IR remote control 4. Stand alone mode is fine Things that could be better 1. Not very bright so get washed out a bit in some circumstances 2. Colours are a it basic and brightness isn’t consistent. However, and as per the title, they are very good for the price and I’ve used these on all kinds of different events from events at ancient monuments through to rock n roll gigs. Easy to deploy, flexible etc.

Budget lights anyone?

these are awesome... we have 2 of them and thinking of getting 2 more... survived a flood but would not subject them to rain if you are playing outside

Light panel

Gives a very good flood light, and collapses flat for easy transportation. Much handier than the PAR cans and less likely to get kicked. Very good colours

Narrow and poor blending

These may well be good value to 'throw a bit of light' but compared to the next, slightly more expensive model they are not worth it. Both profess to have a 40 degree beam, but this seems much, much narrower than the other. Colour blending is also not good - there is a ring which is well mixed but the centre of the beam is not.

Good VFM. Well built. Solid.

The only LED PARs I have owned before these were nasty Chinese branded and were plasticy, poorly made and not safely wired.

These are the exact opposite of that. They are well made, sturdy, work well, have a good range of built in options (plus DMX of course) and feel like they'll be around for many years. They also lay nicely in a shallow box - sort of slotting together back to back.

Right lights for the right price

The perfect little work horse for uplighting. We run 8 across our stage & connect with DMX controller to set the vibes. LED draws low power so we've never had any interference either. Recommend for anyone looking for something good which doesn't break the bank
