Waterproof goodness

4 of these have been installed on a roof doing some down-light for an entrance way to an event space. Over the last 2 months they haven't missed a beat, despite some rather inclement weather. Time will tell as to how well they hold up long term.

Cons

Menu buttons a bit too easy to be pushed. Could do with an "unlock" code maybe, to stop accidental menu access while running unattended.

Good Solid Light

We purchased over a dozen of these for use outside. They have given us no trouble in spite of being used for several weeks at a time mounted outdoors on walls in town centers. The only negative comment is that the link cables we purchased came with 'crushed' ends through storage or something so making the connections was a bit of a push first time. Otherwise pretty good. Nice and bright.

Good robust light

Have had these outdoors for a month in terrible weather conditions (driving rain, sleet and snow) and they've performed fine.

Light output is decent with effect on a building 20 metres away. Construction quality appears good with a good heavy casing, so for temporary works they are unlikely to be blown over by the wind.

Only downside is the specialised cabling which is a little bit pricey. The lanterns comes with a dmx input lead (with an xlr on it) and a power lead, but you'll need to purchase additional leads if necessary for linking them together over any distance.
