Little nice lamp

I have put them up in my studio. They are small but nice and look the part.

It is not the heavey duty as you might think from the big ones but they are absolutly fine!

Solid

Great price to quality ratio! These things are solid and have lasted well on the road as part of our small lighting rig.

Great little lamps

These little lamps with the phillips led bulbs are a great piece of kit.

I use them mainly to light bands in small venues, often combined with a few basic Led pars. They are a lot brighter than expected and surprisingly hardy (one of mine has survived a mosh pit encounter with a flying bassist while attached to a drum kit, and the drum kit came off worse!).

Being so small and light they can be fixed to a variety of places on the stage, where a larger lamp would not be practical. Also as they are so pretty, I am quite happy having them on show.

I was initially rather hesitant about the filter holders, they are not quite as pretty and a bit roughly made, but they do the job and actually add to the strength of the lamp.

The only con really is that the cable is a bit short for using them as a stand alone, which means I do have to play around with extension leads a lot.

Great little lights, I am currently using them to set a nice acoustic atmosphere in small bars and it does the job, only thing is they heat up quite a bit so make sure something solid is under them if you are using on the floor

Fine for some uses

Fine for an expo stand or somewhere where the light is there to be seen, rather than to be a functional light. A reasonably powered bulb will make the unit very very hot, whilst an LED bulb won't really have the brightness you'd need.

An excellent decoration fixture.

Even the missus approves :).

At its best with LED bulbs, the interior paint reeks for days with halogens, hence the 3 stars for quality.

When mounted on ~3 decoration lighting rails and used with LED's, almost an unlimited lighting possibilities at home.

Not the best

The back is not attached very well. The screw that hold the back lid is missing on almost every one I have (aprox. 50 pcs) after only a couple of months use.

Excellent lights

really good for special effects. have enjoyed having these for varied applications.
