Ethereal

I've always wanted a Strymon reverb, and can recall when the Blue Sky first came out, only for the Big Sky to follow shortly after. It can be used as a simple reverb to lay the foundations for a basic (almost) dry sound, or it can be used to ascend to dreamy, ethereal heights. This is an amazing reverb pedal and will go down as one of the greatest ever made.

Great quality, knobs could be a bit sturdier moving. Alot of options.

Does take a lot of setting up and reading the manual multiple times but really high quality effects.

Strymon Big Sky is magic

I'm using Big Sky only with synthesisers and i'ts working perfectly. I'm very happy with this machine. Sounds amazing and quality of build and sound is perfect. Lots of brilliant and magical presets. Very inspiring stuff. I'm sound designer for games and this machine really opens my sound creativity and sound space. Must have in any creative studio.

Versatile and beautiful sounding

This might be one of the most versatile reverbs I’ve ever had.

You can literally create anything with this reverb pedal, the presets are already really good sounding as well, but you can make so many new ones yourself! Incredible work by Strymon!

You should buy this if you really want to upgrade your versatility in styles from a guitarist perspective. You can even turn your guitar into an almost ambient pad!

Mindbogglingly Awesome

Truly epic. I haven't even scratched the surface of what this can do yet. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Lives up to its reputation

Using mainly as external audio effect on DAW (mostly synths / Guitar)

Pros:

Probable still one if not the best reverb pedals / algorithms out there.

Accepts line level from interface out.

Cons:

Bit pricey, I can think of one VST which is quite close in quality.

Need to boost return signal which can generate some noise (depends on pre-amps)

Best reverb I know... Great sound. Lots of possibilities. Very powerful. Midi integration. Maybe a little bit too many options for my taste.

But HEY, here we are, in the big big sky.

And boy oh boy is it big !

So so so so intuitive.

The perfect tool to create beautiful textures and colours.

This can be used for both simple and straight forward background reverb OR this can be used to create soundscapes that will transport you to a dimension like no other.

Infinite Possibilities !!!! Just these two words can describe this pedal!

The pinnacle of Reverb pedals.

The only ""bad""thing that it might be is a bit tricky to get to know the pedal and the functions of it but if you spend time with it and experiment you will find for sure lots of sounds/effects.

The best reverb unit around. Perfect for use in my studio and provides endless sound possibilities. Highly recommended. No negatives at all.

Nothing much to say here.......we all know Strymon, and their fame is up to their quality standard. The sounds are beautiful and there are so many ! It's impossible to not find or create what you need. I don't like too much menus and sub-menus but it's an incredible machine and worth every cent they ask.

More reverb then I need

Excelent reverb unit with a well thought out layout for the controlls.

I thought 'this is way more reverb then I really need' but the epic soundscapes would suggest otherwise.

I have only scatched the surface of what this amazing reverb can do and love the inspiring sounds that are so easy to create.
