Great tremolo, ok reverb

everything is great, except the spring reverb. If I A/B it to my princeton 65 reissue's spring reverb, it's not quite as good. Trem is great though, even compared to the bias trem in the princeton. Harmonic trem and 80s hall reverb is amazing in particular.

One of the best pedals on Earth.

Has everything in the tremolo, reverb department you might ever need. Expression control is a massive added extra. Amazing pedal.

Amazing

Easily the best reverb unit I've owned. I even prefer this to my H9!

Best reverb/tremolo on the market

Great sounds, very adjustable. Love the harmonic trem and infinite decay options. Used to use my Princeton's reverb, but don't really bother anymore since I have this.

Brilliant little box with great sounding trems and verbs

This pedal is one of the best in its class. A trem and reverb in 1 pedal. The trem has 3 different modes and the all sound really really good. The verb goes form 60's spring to 70's plate and 80's hall. If you set the decay knob really high you get these infinite reverbs great for ambient stuff. This is a pedal you can't go wrong with, its easy to use and you simply can't get a bad sound out of it. Love it!

This combo effect is a great match, the reverb is always on when i play. the controls are very simple and effective.

Pros: the footswitch is very lightly no hard "clack" sound, the option to get a stereo sound and also enough options of which reverb sound you want as well for the tremolo. the sizing is also ideal and just a 9v to power it.

cons: would be the price but it is definitely worth it.

i recommend it for any reverb and tremolo enthousiast, it gets the job done in a reliable way

The best pedal for ensuring quality reverb and tremolo at any gig or recording situation

With the Strymon Flint one never needs to look for another tremolo or amp-reverb again. It's a very convincing simulator with a great sound, easy handling, and many features. Put it at the end of your pedalboard or in the loop of your amp and never look back!

Although it's quite pricey I think it's worth the money. It works great with all instruments and covers all my needs. The reverb can even get quite ambient and the tremolo quite "trippy".

Highly recommended if one can afford it.

You need Flint to start a fire

If you are into HIFI sound, you will appreciate sonic qualities of your new companion. Sounds equally beautiful with clean and dirty amps, Strat or Les Pauls. Most pedals have one or two set-ups which are worthy - this one takes you through epic journey through R'nR guitar hall of fame with every small click, move or button press. If you are looking for superb tremolo, you'll be awarded with best sounding reverb and vice versa. Only downside is a price, expected to pay around EUR 350 for this beauty in Europe. Also, don't expect a tank, this thing is built like classy Italian sporty car - smooth, nice to touch but very light.

Great two in one pedal.

Very enjoyable sound. Clean, analogue reverb and sweet tremolo sound for my electric (Fender Telecaster Deluxe) and acoustic (Takamine EF 360GF). A pleasure for the ears. Perfect quality for the country, surf, ballads etc. I love it!

A perfect combination of Tremolo and Reverb.

Reverb is a major part of my sound and in the search for the best reverb to fit my style and rig, numerous pedals have come and gone, T-Rex Roommate, TC Hall of Fame & Nova Reverb, Neunaber Wet Stereo, Digitech RV-7, Catalinbread Talisman to name a few, as well as some rack reverbs that I love but are so inconvenient to use for various reasons.

The Flint is easily the best of all, not only it sounds amazing, its also very easy to tweak and very versatile with the three modes that it offers. This is how I use it, just a touch of Spring when I want that 60s sound, I use the Plate mode for my more traditional jazz sounds, it gives a great dimension to the sound and never gets in the way. And I use the Hall mode for more modern jazz sounds or for ambient playing. Not a bad sound can be found in there and its very easy to tweak even between the songs (I also have a favourite switch that gives a preset).

I?ve only wrote about the reverb side so far, not because the Tremolo is less spectacular but because I use it much less, but I like that its always there when I need it, be it a touch of it or more intense tremolo sounds.

I have had a Dr. Scientist Tremollessence II and a Neunaber Wet Stereo on my pedalboard, these two where more expensive than the Flint, and yet it is more inspiring to play, more versatile, more compact and sounds beautiful!

Great reverb and tremolo pedal!

Very versatile pedal able to reproduce different type of vintage tremolo and reverb effects. With the reverb side of this pedal I am able to cover different styles from surf to 80's rock!

I own a fender deluxe 65 reissue and the tremolo side of the pedal can compete with the built in vibrato effect, without the background pulsing noise typical of the DRRI.

I really enjoy the possibility to set the effects' order although I personally prefer standard setting (tremolo into reverb).

The building quality is very high, as for all strymon pedals. So far I have not find something I do not like in this pedal. Since the day I received it, it has been always on my pedal-board.

Flint

There is a dream like quality to this pedal.

Tube like clarity and the depth and not to complicated.

This one is here to stay.

Perfect tones-really simple to use

Hands down the best reverb in a little box pedal out there in my opinion.

It goes from transparent "oldschool" reverb all the way to massive washy, ambient, pad like tones. It is really easy to use. The decay and the color knobs are very touch sensitive and interactive, plus the infinite mode (decay all the way up) is a great addition.

Although I bought the pedal for the reverb side I found myself loving to play with the tremolo side too, which delivers super high quality tremolo and some phasery tones.

Apart of it's beautiful retro appearance, the pedal is built like a tank in a small package.

To sum up, I highly recommend the Flint, it is a piece of art that delivers super high quality tones with the minimum tweaking possible. There is no way anyone will regret buying it.

Haunting Sound

Smooth foot-switches, and great finish.

Regarding sound, it can be quite easy to get a good sound, It's almost Impossible to go wrong. Weird to find a Tremolo & Reverb in one pedal, but this' a nice feature, having both On, you can blend which effect will be predominant.

3 Tremolos and 3 reverbs, different one from each other, just a big gamut to choose from. I'm looking forward for other pedals from this guys.

One of the best pedals

This is one of the best pedals I've ever used. A real organic sounding pedal with a tonne of tones available. An absolute must have for any reverb/tremolo fan. I was a bit sceptical at the start but the proof is in the pedal. Easily one of my favourite pedals. Cannot recommend it enough.

Best Reverb/Tremolo Pedal out there

I am a Strymon Fanboy! I also have a Timeline and an El Capistan - my favorite pedals on my pedalboard. My new Flint is just fantastic. Very organic and versatile and not even expensive if you compare it to other pedals.

Strymon Flint

Very pleasing reverb combined with tremolo pedal in a small form factor. This is definitely a vintage sounding device and very easy to use. Fantastic sounding effects in true spirit of the Strymon pedal line. I do prefer this reverb over the Strymon BlueSky
