Great sounding pedal, will save me a lot of space on my board, and I can put some effects in the loop of my amp and some before. Very happy with this.

Awesome guitar pedal

Very good quality usable sounds, organic, multiple effects, one of the best in its field. Would definitely reccomend it.

What can I say? Strymon sound is fantastic, and the musicality of the parameter ranges is on par with Timeline and Big Sky.. Had one, sold it to buy H9 and had to buy it again because I was missing it!

Best modulation mutli fx period.

Okay, I am already a bit biased towards whatever STrymon puts out, but I will be 100% objective here. I could easily only buy this pedal for the rotary in it ! Its better than almost all rotary's i have heard (maybe an exception could be Ventilator). All other effects are equally good. Its built like a tank, everything about its build and sound is quality. I can't recommend it enough. I wish it was much cheaper but there is a very powerful chip inside and those things are expensive to make.

Great sounds out of the box! still getting used to the menus, but a lot of immediately usable sounds. the thing I hate with multi effects unit is when you have to tweak everything to have a usable sound. not with the mobius! still the king of modulation!!!

As an amateur guitarist, I purchased Mobius because I was pleased with the quality of Strymon's other products and I wanted to have a "one stop shop" modulation effect. I was pleased with the overall quality and design of the product. In particular, I was intrigued of the low noise of Mobius and the high sound quality of each effect in it. Price - value seems to be justified. My favourites are Mobius' Phaser/Tremolo/Rotary effects. Having said that, the handling of Mobius is far from easy and the 60-70 pages long user's guide dowloaded from the Strymon website is not very helpful for amateur guitarists. I believe that only professionals can use all the capabilities of Mobius. Simple home users or artists who are not keen on spending days/weeks with exploring all the options hidden in this product may easily get frustrated with the myriad of possibilities offered by this product.

Very good digital modulation effects

Small, powerfull and optional device. Strymon is serious about everything they do.

If you want great and compact arsenal of good modulation effects this is it. If you want a few and great sounding ones, go for analog pedals. They do sound better.

amazing engine, very versatile and easy to use.

You can get a bit lost in all the options but all the presets are still useful if you're not willing to dive in all the tweaking.

Also, remember not to plug it on the same power supply as analog pedals, it gets noisy.

I have the mobius the timeline and the big sky in the loop of my amp and a couple of pedals in the front. I struggle for a bit with noise until i found out that a second power supply would do the trick.

Very good (but complicated)

A lot of pedals in one, perfect! However, the sound is a bit "too" digital and you have to spend A LOT of time to learn it because of its endless parameters. Bottom line? I still use it, 3 years later, it saved me a lot of space, money but i still haven't learnt it by heart.

I play fenders and gibsons and love the sound of my amps .

I love the strymon Timeline as it has an "analogue through" audio path and it really sounds as if it is "not there " .

The Mobius seems to have almost the same ( it probably is the same ) sonic quality but the ADA latency just does not feel right for me and it was much higher than I expected it to be . The Mobius sounds very good and records very well , it does not kill the amp tone and if you dont mind a bit of latency then its a hard product to fault . If the trem and uni vibe had " analogue through " then I would buy two .

Pros - Plenty

Cons - for me ... Tangible ADA latency . This may not be something that bothers you when you hit a note .

You probably won't like every sound on this pedal

But it doesn't matter. What you do like you will love.

Quality of the effects is flawless and doesn't introduce any noise into your signal.

Personal favourites of mine are the tremolos and destructor.

Just need to try and find a song for the rythmic tremolos - they are a very unique effect!

Strymon Mobius

I got this as a gift for Christmas and it is an amazing piece of kit. Out of the box it is actually really easy to get useable modulations I typically use chorus and tremelo so I could quickly use it in my covers band and original country/southern rock bands. The out of the box effects are opening up new ideas that I can use and off course the presets really show off what the mobius can do.

The ease of editing the effects is what really makes it great , its really easy to figure out the basics but there is so much more that can be done If I need it. Even without consulting manuals its easy to get it to do what I want. I think it sounds great but the rest of my band mates were complimenting me, I had to tell the truth it was the strymon mobius. It has a ton of features that I have'nt even tried yet maybe I won't need them but already its making my music sound better and I did'nt need to digest a huge manual or tweak a load of switches.

This is my first strymon but I suspect it won't be my last.

All modulation in one box!

I used to not like modulation effects too much, only tremolo. But the years went by and I already had Uni-Vibe kind of pedal on my pedalboard, then Leslie simulator. Then flanger. And then I was looking for phaser and then I noticed one other really cool?. You get the point, my pedalboard was already too full and too big. I have to mention that I play only vintage style tube amps and use analog-effects (except delay).

As I was looking around for other possibilities and was interested to check digital effects development (I haven't used digital guitar gear for ages), I came across Strymon. The need for access to all kinds of modulation effects was pretty urgent and just ordered it after looking some demos on the internet, which did impress me quite a bit.

And I have to admit that Mobius is excatly as Strymon promises it to be. It does not sound like somekind on effect put on top of guitar signal. It really becomes a part of the guitar sound. The tremolo can oscillate in very smoothly or all the opposite, it's possible to make it totally chopping at almost any rate. Leslie simulator is outstanding, vibe is excactly as you expect it to be. So are flanger, chorus, phaser etc. Plus (!) with expression pedal you can control every effect's parameters that you would like. And you even can have it as wah-wah. The wah-wah isn't close to real vintage CryBaby/Vox (but then again, what is), but on some gigs the wah-wah does the trick. Especially the autowah for some songs. The are some cool/funny effects to mess around, but check the demo by Strymon.

And the best of all, you can save your settings. You can switch them quite easily. And of course it has tap function.

As I already have written too much and I still have not covered all the possibilities, the Strymon is heavily recommended. It is pricey, but well? would you like to buy all these quality effects separately?

Strymon Mobius - an excellent modulation pedal

Amazing tone quality, amazing. This is a really great pedal with tons of options. Chorus, flanger, vibe, rotary, tremolo, filter, slow gear, phaser, formant, ring modulator, it's all there, and with so many options. This pedal has become one of my favourites for gigging and my most important tool for recording.

Definitely pricey, but absolutely worth it. The only thing about this one: the effect kicks in NOT the moment you press the switch but the moment you RELEASE it. Kinda tricky on stage, but after a while you get used to it. Also, you can only use one effect at a time, so you cannot have a "chopped phaser" or a "filtered slow gear" for example. But, apart from that, it is a great pedal, excellent for designiing your own signature sounds.

Modulation Heavan!

I purchased all 3 of the high end Strymon pedals to integrate with my new GigRig G2 based pedalboard. The Möbius has every kind of modulation effect you could ever want and the sound quality is superb. The unit is fully mid controllable and also any and in fact several parameters can be controlled by an expression pedal. Another awesome feature is the pre/post configurable outputs so you can have your modulation effects either before or after your preamp on a by preset basis.

The factory patches are good and are a good starting point for your own tweaking adventures and there are more than enough presets available to save your creations on. The only criticism I can make is the absence of any kind of midi mapping feature which may be less than ideal when coupled with some gear.

Personally I got around this by adding the molten Osmosis to my setup which enable even more midi functionality in my setup. It is even possible to get a pretty good Wah effect when coupled with an expression pedal.

Superb modulation pedal

I sold my analogue flanger/phaser/chorus/vibe and filter pedal to get this. No regrets as sound quality is superb, and it has presets! The destroyer and quadulature modes are fairly unique. Overall a huge pallet of sounds to play with.

Worth every penny.

I bought this pedal 2-3 months ago. At first I didn't like it because it added so much noise to my tone, but after changing my power supply the problem was solved. Needless to say that whatever effect you need or sound, you can find it on here. Even if it's chorus or a flanger or seriously whatever. It takes a while to get used to all the parameters and how they work but once you learn how to use it you can produce any sound from any record or song you can imagine. It works perfectly with my other pedals. You have 10-15 pedals with the price of 3. So it's worth it. It's not that big, and it's very well built. It's very easy to use it on stage, and even if it seems complicated it's not. I have all my sounds saved after bank 20, so depending on what songs I'm playing on the day, I copy and paste them on the first banks with the order I want, so there is no tap dancing between my parts. It doesn't affect my signal at all, and even if it has so many different functions, every single one is top quality. I would definitely suggest this pedal for anyone who wants to produce more than just an ordinary guitar tone.

best modulation midi effect with pre/post instant configuration

best midi selectable/controllable modulation effects IMO. Sound great before delays and overdrive pedals. The pre/post switch is really useful if you use an audio loop switcher and guitar amp send/return feature in a modern guitar rig.

Great quality, some great classic sounds as well as some rather bizarre and less than immediately useful ones

There are many good sounds in this unit but there are equally as many strange and experimental ones too. For my needs I was just looking to replace my modulation pedals on my pedalboard in one simple solution, and for that purpose this unit is perfect. Some of the other sounds are in my opinion less than easy to use or appreciate, but it's your choice how weird you want to go! For me, having chorus, flangers (including through zero models), phasers, Leslie cabinet simulators, vibe and tremolo sounds -all with recallable memory locations (and midi), I am more than satisfied.
