Adequate but not great
I used it to mic up a piano from the inside, but it picked up a lot of other sounds as well, so it did the job, and maybe I chose the wrong tool for the job?
I also tried it as a desk mic, but the sound was inferior to the condenser mic that was being used before, and again, it picked up a lot of room noise.
Apart from that, the build quality is fantastic, it looks like it can withstand a lot of abuse, and the supplied cable/adaptor is insanely long. I didn't need to use my own XLR.
