Superlux HD-681 Evo WH 5-stars Reviews
I just received them today played some favs for a few minutes
and I must say comfort wearing them is great, I actually almost forgot I have something on top of my head but I was all the time reminded by sheer superb sound quality ( I wonder how they will sound after warming up the coils after few hours!), that I am wearing a very good product in this price range.
They are ASTONISHING and I recommend them for anyone who values good product and fast EU delivery (3 days from Germany to UK).
If you are considering to buy anything else like "gaming" headset's Creative Fatal1ty with mic do yourself a favor and skip that pile of garbage and put your money on Superlux HD-681 Evo for a mic just buy this great one - ZALMAN zM-MIC1 and you are set!
Rock on people :)

Best for the price!
These cans need cc. 30-40 hours burn-in time to give you the best performance. Their sound is really great for the price. In some cases I even prefer them to my AKG K550 (it costs 6 times as the EVO), because the EVO is way more funnier, while the sound of the K550 is too neutral and bright and it sounds a bit artificial to me sometimes. Unfortunately there were several reported issues with the cables, Superlux should pay more attention to fix these.
My first EVO had a contact failure in the right channel, but I could fix it easily. The biggest problem of the earlier models (not EVO), the piercing, hissing highs are fortunately not present anymore, the treble is clear and not fatiguing in the EVO. It works fine with portable players. I tried it with my Sansa Fuze and the volume was more than enough. However it is really bulky and looks odd on the street. But for home use I don't know better choice in entry level.
