Mediocre

Head cushions detach easily.

Very nice for the pice

We use these for our keyboard rooms in a secondary school and are ideal for a classroom setting. Nice quality build and sound quality is far better than most cheaper brands. The head band design is nice and sturdy and much less likely to break than others.

muddy

Price is good, styling is good... but they are not adjustable, so not very comfortable... and sound is really muddy.... Of course the price is very good, but they sound similar to 5 $ ear buds. Not my favorite.

Great product!

I've been rockin' these babies for around 3 years now. Not only are they still in perfect working condition, but they're also super transparent (not too heavy on either end of the spectrum). I often use them while mixing and mastering, and even recording, even though they're semi-open.

One thing I'll say after having had them on my head a number of hours now is that they're not the most comfortable headphones around. If you've a massive head as I do, these might end up hurting after a bit. I often find myself having a headache only to have it go away as soon as I take the headphones off. Still a great purchase as far as bang-for-your-buck. If you're hurting for money and need to step up your monitoring situation (if you don't have near field monitors that is) these will serve you well.

They're also great for listening to music, which I often do and recommend doing, if you're planning on mixing with them. Once again you'll find they are really balanced. Also, it's obviously a great way to getting to know them in case you decide to mix with them.

Too long, didn't read: overall they're a great product but beware of the slight physical discomfort that may ensue.

A drum friend

It has a nice bass,2 years since i bought it its used with e-drum and does a nice job ,only bad thing is that its really tight and uncomfortable and i have a small head :),on the other hand ..it fell quite a few times and i slipped over a cable with my full weight and it survived ,solid quality for the price.

If superlux had softer ear covers and some more foam inside them,i think that would help a lot with comfort.

Good affordable Headphones!

I was looking for some headphones that do not break my wallet. After a quick search a found the Superlux HD-651 Black. What I like about the sound is the bass, also it anatomic system feels very comfortable in your head. I like the little bag that comes with, but maybe could be in other material that will last longer. The cable is very stable, I normally use connect it to my phone when I practice some tunes in my drums. The headphones really cancel the outside noise and the cable is long enough to plug it your Iphone or anything else at reasonable distance. I love the little jack that come with, because allow me to use this headphones the electronic drum kit. They are a Good affordable Headphones !

Cheap Headphones

I bought these for my children to use with their electric drum kit but I have found them to be very poor quality. One side has stopped working and overall feel and comfort is very poor. I guess you get what you pay for, low end headphones

Amazing for the price

I bought these because our church was moving out into a school hall because of lack of space at our hall, while a new building is built.I needed some headphones but had run out of budget, I thought for £10 they were worth a try. Used with our Behringer desk they are fine for checking levels and EQing etc.

They are not very comfy and the sound quality is ok, but for the price - brilliant!

Because we set up and tear down every Sunday morning and the job is done by a group of volunteers, they get dropped and squashed etc but have dealt very well and still look and work like new. We are very pleased with them.

Quite uncomfortable

Sound is good, no noise from external world, but not possible to have them on more than half an hour, as headphones are very tight and are pressing ears painfully. I guess it should be okay for people with small heads :)

Big Bang for the buck

The headphones are comfortable, even if there's no way to adjust the size, but i have a small head.

The sound good, a little too strong in the bass area but with enough clarity on the mid and high.

For a price tag under 15 euros the are a great choice.

Perhaps not for mixing...

...but great for recording overdubs/vocals etc. I found these lacking in bottom and top end a little bit, resulting in a slightly mid-rangey response, so wouldn't use them for mixing recordings, but these are perfect for just about anything else!

Just okay...

I had no expectations from these headphones as I basically received them for free from a bundle.

After a short test it was quite clear that they wouldn't have much use in professional application as the sound quality was quite low, unnatural, especially with the harshness in upper mids and the bass slightly over the top.

The isolation and comfort is quite decent though, I used them a couple of times for additional monitoring during bigger voice recording sessions and no one really complained about them.

I would say they are good for a casual, not demanding music listening and a really cheap additional monitoring solution, but I wouldn't expect them to do any better.
