Great sound, medium build quality

As the title says, the sound is amazing. It's not a replacement for expensive studio headphones, but if you need an extra pair to use at gigs and which are easy to power, it's a great choice. I wouldn't recommend using it as everyday headphones as they tend to get uncomfortable after an hour or so. They have a firm pressure on the cups which will help them stay on even with a lot of head movement. The plastic on the outside feels pretty cheap but the sound quality makes up for it. A great choice for getting a feel of what great sound is.

Great sound

Definitely worth the money.

While their build is not exactly spectacular, the sound that comes from these headphones is unbelievable. Of course, this would mean you understand and accept the fact that these are studio headphones and their sound is supposed to be rather flat, not in any way bass or treble heavy, and definitely not enhanced or improved.

I found them perfect as a secondary pair of headphones, especially when you don't want to ruin your primary ones on the road :)

Great for the price

Being used to AKG headphones (K240 and currently K271), my wife wanted closed headphones to be worn for an extended time to replace her Sennheiser H201. These look like blatant copies of the AKG design so I thought they might be comfortable — and they are. Plus, for the price the sound reproduction is great. So far they have been reliable, having been tripped over several times and still working fine. She much prefers these phones over the H201, both in comfort and sound.

I got introduced to this brand through a site which professionally reviews headphones. Headphones from 10$ up to the 1000's of $$$.

Intrigued by their positive review, especially their opinion of the sound quality / fidelity, I decided to purchase a whole set of them.

4 of this exact type, two more of other types of the same brand.

And I was really blown away : the HD-681's produce a sound quality that is unheard of at this price level. Or at 5 times the price.

I'm talking about neutral sound, something you can trust, not one that will give you the highest "kick" when listening to Dub or other genres, but something that translates very well anything you throw at it.

A bit like a cheap Sennheiser 600/650 - which of course plays in premiere league .

3 of them went to my kids, to learn to listen to music as it was recorded, instead of getting hyped sound out of "fancy" brands (where 50% of the budget goes to the "artist who developed the product line") ...

Negative : build quality - don't just throw them into your bag !!

Positive : replaceable ear cushions (two sets provided), replaceable cables (multiple lengths provided) --- did I mention "Sound Quality" ?

For the price, this headset is absolutely great. I don't think I could find something better in this price range

Great neutral sound

Great neutral sound for a great price, but not the most comfortable headphones.

Awesome for the money

I got these because they are the cheapest headphones I could find that had a profile on sonarworks reference software. They have quite a pronounced high frequency bump on their own. But with sonarworks engaged they sound totally killer. I use these all the time and find them pretty comfortable

Great cheap cans

Superlux cans are really nice for the money you pay. I also have the HD669, which I got more than 10 years ago, still working great. The HD681 are now my main headphones, they are light and natural sounding. I'm thinking of buying another pair and convert them to bluetooth.

These headphones are awesome. Light, comfortable, great sounding, and i just love the screw-on jack adaptor.

Amazing sound

I have been using these headphones for just a couple of days now and I haven't even burned these in yet. (headphones sound better after 50+ hours of usage at loud volumes)

These beat any other headphones I have including way more expensive ones and the sound is absolutely amazing.

I have been reading reviews about them being too tight or that the earpads are very uncomfortable I absolutely do not agree with these reviews, I can have them on for long periods of time without them bothering me.

I have also read that people complain about them having too much treble or "brightness" again I do not agree with this I think they sound absolutely perfect.

As far as quality goes I don't know how long these are going to last me but I am hoping it's a long time since I found my new favorite pair of headphones.

The headphones are really cool, I used a different model of headphones from this company, but unfortunately they were far from home, I am completely satisfied with the headphones, I recommend.

Good if you are on a budget

These came together with the electric drumset. I used them for a little while but was not satisfied with the sound and comfort, because before I had much more expensive headphones. If we are considering the price point then they are really good and I would recommend these for a beginner player.
