Great Budget XLR Headset!

Use these for a podcast I run, needed a hands off microphone and monitoring solution, Audio Technica's are nice but expensive. Needs phantom power, some decks provide, some don't. Great buy for what you get! Would recommend some extension cables for the XLR and the 3.5 jack! They're spaced a little close and dont have far reach.

A workhorse

We run a live streaming show and have done for years. The Director uses these to talk to the camera crew and they've been excellent, a reliable workhorse throughout the shows. They're not high fidelity but they serve our purpose very well.

Podcaster...

I use this for podcasting. Good headset sound quality so far. ALo mic is surprisingly clear and good.

A++

Best ever headset I've had and I've owned much pricier ones but none have been this good. These have very nice sound quality, both for headphones and microphone. Durable and very comfortable, esp. so as I bought velour ear pads. I can't see any reason to pay any more for a headset when you can get something so so good for this price.

Good value for money

But do get the genuine Beyer Dynamic velour pads right from the start, the superlux originals are not good and the BD ones are glorious.

I use these at work for listening to music and teleconferencing (with the t.bone micplug)

The construction is a bit creaky and at least on my unit this sometimes causes noises from the frame settling to couple into the microphone, whether or not this annoys the people you're talking with depends on various things.

Anyway it works very well, the sound quality is fine and the price isn't half bad even when you include the BD pads.

A good all-round headset

Originally bought as a cheap, temporary alternative to a speaker and mic setup I had whilst moving house, this headset has become my go-to for everyday listening, gaming, and communication. Built like a tank, yet lightweight and comfortable enough to use for extended periods of time. They do lack a bit of dynamic range, but having been designed to be used in a theater environment, it's to be expected. The mic arm does feel a little feeble at times, but is stable and isn't going anywhere. Keep the windshield on though. There's plenty of space in them, and will suit all head sizes - having a big head and large ears my self, the cups are surprisingly comfortable, and theres still room for adjustment too. There is little noise spill, and the closed back design also stops a lot of outside noise as well.

Overall, very solid construction, sound quality to match, and a price tag that cannot be argued with.

Solid Headset

I have been using this headset for some time and I have found it to be quite a good one. The sound quality is superb, voices a loud and have no distortion and there is good separation between the highs and lows. Listening to music through them is excellent as the closed-back design provides good isolation from background noise and the headphones deliver crisp highs and full, though not overly powerful bass. The built-in microphone also performs admirably, with clear voice transmission without distortion.

Altogether an excellent product.

Weak mic

The mic was really weak even with phantom power and it had a lot of white noise. It works but I'd recommed paying a little bit more for a better headset. Used it for podcasting but the sound was really rough for the ears.
