Swissonic EasyKey 49 Reviews
Great for the price
It's a 100€ usb keyboard, you can't expect it to be amazing but it's very good for the price. I use it all the time. Decent build quality and it's quite heavy.
No fanciness : only usefulness
This keyboard is not pretty.
It doesn't feature anything shiny.
No aftertouch neither touch-sensitive pad on this bad boy.
But it's sturdy, and I'll bet a coin it's built out of ex-USSR tanks (maybe from the same factories which provide Shure with metal for their mics). And despite my slight tendency to break everything I touch, no knobs were hurt or lost during the few months where we shared a room together.
It's a reliable, straight-to-the-point, no-fanciness-only-usefulness humble piece of hardware. Too bad I've forgotten it in a train because I was...
A budget 4 octave keyboard with a really nice action.
Bought this for my DAW/hardware synth module setup.
Delivery was prompt.
Overall, a really nice keyboard, with a pleasantly solid action and simple operation.
The only thing I would change was to have a few more assignable controls although, to be honest, this does not bother me much so far.
Other than that, works as intended and is a good value for money.
Perfect
So I bought this to go with my eurorack synth and it all fits pretty well, as far as the quality goes im very pleased with it! I think everyone should go for it!
Got it with a bundle
Got it with a bundle, mainly for the audio interface and with Studio One 5 Artist included.. didnt open the package, so cant say nothing about the feel of the keys
Swissonic EasyKey 49 - I am a beginner and it works great for me!
Given I am a new-comer in the world of music and instruments I was looking for an entry-level device that could support my first steps and help me evolve.
Swissonic EasyKey has the following characteristics that I value:
-- Smooth (plug&play) integration with GarageBand in mac
-- Easy to use interface with all the required functionality for a beginner (not many confusing buttons but some required and operational ones))
-- Nice touch and responsive
-- solid construction
I would not be in a position to discuss "cons" as my comparison standards are not there yet. However what I do know is that I am happy with what I got and I have put it to immediate use effortlessly.
So if you are a beginner you will enjoy making your first musical steps with this device smoothly.
Solid finish. Great key feeling. The change of midi channel could be more quick.
Great keyboard!
This is amazing keyboard for a very low price. Would recommend for small studios and easy usage!
A bit heavier, which is ok, it is more stable, if you don't need to move it often. There is a little issue: sustain pedal doesn't work sometimes during recording into daw, so I have to repeat what i wan't to record, which is annoying. Everything else is fine.
Nice Quality
Very nice to touch. Metal casing which adds some quality and worked without issue straight away....always a bonus!
Good product
I like it with such an affordable price. However I think the keys make noise and it is difficult for me to record with voice as well. The button are not friendly, they are rigid. But it is a good product.
Thought it's just another low cost plastic-y midi keyboard, but when it's arrived the weight and the keyboards quality apparently more than it costs. Very happy, absolutely.
Never had any previous keyboard experience, bought this to learn how to play and extend my music knowledge beyond the guitar. Does the job more than enough. 10/10 recommended for starters or anyone looking to do synth work on their own.
An excellent midi keyboard
This keyboard is solid, a good weight and performs extremely well. No complaints, delighted with it!
Good value plug and play keyboard
Nice and easy to use - with Logic Pro X - open a software instrument, plug keyboard in and away you go.
Key travel feels odd, ie too much travel for pple used to touch screen/synth rather than piano, but expect to get used to this.
USB cable supplied is worse than useless. Far too short and poor quality plastic. Would be better to pay a few £€$ more for a decent lead to be included - or don't include lead and direct customers to buy seperate one.
Overall score 4.5/5, but five stars on review for price and value.
Just what I was looking for and great service too.
Makes you want to play
Great value for the money jeyboards to play live your VSTs and drums
The best for that price
It's definetely not perfect but it does what we ask for him.
Cheap but very good for the price
I'd suggest this keyboard to anyone who is looking for a cheap usb keyboard, it's nothing special but it also doesn't feel cheap. The keys are quite nice and the construction feels very solid.
Great MIDI keyboard for the money
Very nice keyboard. Full sized keys, though the black keys are a tiny bit thinner than full-sized. Touch is nice. Very light, so great for synth playing. Mod and pitch wheels are very solid. Case is also very well built and solid. Octave transposing is quick and easy. And it has a nice music "stand", more of a slot, really, in which you can also insert an iPad. Nice touch. All in all, a lot of bang for the buck.
