Overall pretty solid, but has very noticable sound artifacts

I can't complain about most things, the controller is pretty nice quality for the price. What bothers me, however, is that there is a very apparent constant sound artifact when using this. It doesn't show much when you're playing some sound, but when you just have things on "standby" it'll be VERY apparent.

Introduces hissing

Connected a vinyl player with a phono preamp, which then leads into a scarlett solo. Without the swissonic control it sounds perfectly fine, but when i plug it into the loop a lot of distortion appears. I might be misusing the product, but atleast it doesn't appear to work well for me.
