Nice sturdy Tube that sounds great

Good tube

I put a matched pair in Blackstar HT Club 50 and it sounds good with Celestion V30s. Good nice thick and round sound typical for JJ brand, but not everybody wants fullness. For more pierce sound check either Sovtek or EHX tubes. This counts the same for the preamp area. JJ is pure roundness. For quality, they last long it is one year now but I am no touring musician.

I've been told they're the bee's knees.

I used these tubes to replace the stock bugera tubes in their plexi head. I've been told these tubes are the gold standard so some quick run through of the changes. The amp still sounds like the amp. It doesn't get nearly as loud but produces WAY less noise. It's a 120W head so it can still get REALLY loud and takes pedals like a champ. These tubes seem to have really improved the response of the amp too. It just sounds more articulate. The one reason it's not a top mark tube for me is because early into use they began cutting out but after playing them in a bit they're fine.

What you would expect

This is inexpensive, very basic and reliable tube in my opinion. I've used one of these for a little while now in my full tube 6 watts guitar combo amplifier. It's been working flawlessly and sounds quite pleasing. I have heard and read that JJ brand is among the best of new tube manufacturers. I think that's very true at least with this particular tube.
