Great lightweight, but sturdy throne

I purchased this throne because I needed something lightweight and sturdy, and Tama never disappoints. It's a pretty no-frills throne, but it fits my needs perfectly. The legs and the height adjustment tube are held in place with a simple thumb screw, but the real weight is supported by an included height lock which is tightened and loosened with a drum key. This means that height adjustments take a little extra time. However, this is an acceptable tradeoff for me in order to have a lightweight throne. The seat cushion is thin, but comfortable. Great for those needing something light that can be carried to the gig without breaking your back!
