Great Beginner Set

We bought this set for our son when he was 6 and it has held together wonderfully considering how heavy he plays for a 10 year old. Dependable Tama quality. Very cool bass drum tuning ring system. Gotta love the galaxy silver wrap! Positive that this will last for a long time!

Couldn't make a better choice!

This is my first drum kit as a beginner student and I am totally in love with it. It's more than valuable for an entry kit, it sounds great, it was easy for me to tune it (it was my first time doing it), plus it's very stable and looks really good. Important observation on the cymbal set: usually the cymbals included in complete drumsets are basically crappy toys, or that's how I expected them to be, but I was amazed by how they actually sound pretty nice for being part of a reasonably "cheap" set. They're more than enough. (Not that I was ever disappointed by Meinl). The only thing I would probably change soon is the throne, I find it too hard and it's not easily/quickly adjustable.

I chose the sparkly, glitter silver finish and it looks amazing, I can't wait to bring it on stage.
