GREAT MONITORS
Just Great monitors for their price, i've got the bundle where i had two monitors and a TC Electronic Level Pilot. Fantastic bundle. First of all it came all packed very good and safety. The monitors looks great an work perfectly, i heard a lot of good thing about them but you need to try to understand. TC Electronic Level Pilot works great and looks perfect on my studio desk. For my small studio just what i needed.
Tannoy never dissapoints me.
These are my second pair of Tannoy studio monitors that I have.
I bought these because I have Tannoy 6 series passive monitors and I assumed the quality would be equally good with these Reveal 502's.
Well I was pleasantly suprised, with these bad boys. The sound quality is great.
These are perfect for any producer who is working in a small/medium sized studio.
The highs and mids are clear. Bass is good for mixing.
What I like the most about this monitors is, that it has the aux cord option. Makes your life whole lot easier. You can just plug your laptop/phone/tablet to it and listen to music instantly. Reveal 502's are great, for just listening music too, you will have fun & pleasant music listening experience.
I'm very happy with my purchase.
Tannoy Reveal 502
a fantastic product. well packaged recieved in perfect condition. A fine solid speaker delivering a great sound, lovely definition with a great bass, very honest tone
Brilliant!
You won't get better for this price.
Great sound quality with a few compromises!
I decided to go with these monitors after reading many reviews and write-ups about them online. They seemed to be the best value for money on my budget.
When I first took them out of the box I was a little disappointed that there was a few scratches across the cones (just enough the scratch the paint) I decided to set them up and try the sound quality. Again, I was slightly concerned by the hiss/noise coming from the speaker when it was just turned on (A common issue I gather from reading some online forums)
However, when I finally got some music through them I was amazed by the clarity and quality of the sound. A great stereo spread, a clear frequency range and the detail in the mix was fantastic!
It took a while to get used to the hiss/noise, but well worth it for the sound quality you get.
Really Rock Solid!
This might come as a bit of a joke at first but it isn't. 1 out of 2 was faulty when i received it. Just a loose screw which could have happened to any brands. I am waiting to receive my second monitor but still had a listen to them both together and what jumps at thee most is the imaging... absolutely out of this world. i had more expensive speakers before (that were too big for my room) and they could not even come close. here we are talking about being able to properly place the your sound/instrument in its own space. really handy when you have really busy tracks.
The next best thing are the bass to mid to high EQs (adjustable to your room) on these monitors which are absolutely well balanced so you can listen to your mix from low to high volume without losing any details or any punch... that also means that you are not going to get your ears tired by pumping it up all the time. But if you fancy pumping these up, you have to be warn that they can become pretty loud.
The only down side is the bass might be slightly hyped so unless i train my ears on them 1st i might not get spot on... but compares to the pair i had before, these are 10 times more accurate and for slice of the price these are a proper steal. these are as clear as the Yamahas, have a better image and don't have a too hyped bass like the KRKs. so if you don't want to spend £400/500 on a pair of monitors then get these.
Just the job!
These speakers are just what I'm looking for. Clear response a little brighter than my previous monitors but with the hi-cut feature, this helps me adapt to the acoustics of my, admittedly small room.
Just the job!
