Great Chorus pedal

Sounds great! Really like the 4 button controls

Dimension C clone for next to nothing

Sounds incredible, costs hardly anything. Slightly thinner sounding than the BOSS original but still sounds brilliant, just a great Chorus pedal and it costs very little, get it

Good value

I used to have a real Dimension C pedal from the 80s. This one doesn't have that magic tone, but it's still a nice chorus and good value for the money. It's built like a tank and the user interface is just kick ass! Give it a go.

Awesome simple Chorus

It does exactly what you’d want from a Chorus. Several combinations allows it to go from subtle ambience to really washy chorus.

great build quality, good chorus -but..

just not what I expected. I am not really a chorus guy, and have been reading about the pedal on which this TC pedal obviously is based. So I thought this could give me a subtler type of chorus effect. In my opinion, the effect is pronounced even at the lowest settings and sounds very much just like a regular good chorus. Pushing different button configurations, didnt yield countless soundscapes, it just sounded like different levels of depth. Either way, probably a great chorus pedal, just not what I was expecting. Should also mention, that good pedals at this price point is a rare thing.

Love it

Quite a good Dimension C clone, with a few great set-and-forget sounds, simple and useful, sounds great with distortion, too. A total steal for the price. My few objections are: 1) I wish it had a smaller footprint, 2) having LEDs on the switches would be nice, 3) I wish the footswitch was better, feels a bit flimsy (it's not like the real "loud click" hard switch type) and 4) although it feels solid like a tank, quality control should be better - the 1st button on my unit is a bit more prominent and is not on the same height as the three other. I opened the housing and tried pushing it back in, but couldn't get the desired result so I left it as it is fearing it may break.

Does what it says on the tin!

I bought this because I wanted a simple, affordable chorus pedal and it's exactly that. Very happy with it.

Excellent option to standard chorus FX pedal.

Found this TCE 3rd Dimension pedal to be a very good addition to my FX setup. Simple setup and a range of quality sounds make it a good alternative to my standard CE-2W chorus pedal or using it in addition to go for some over-the-top sounds if combined!

Decent pedal

Not as deep sounding as original but pretty solid. If you need more flexibility in adjusting the sound of your chorus, I'd probably choose a pedal with old school knobs

80s sounding distortion, but not a Dimension-C clone

This is a nod to the classic Boss Dimension-C used on many famous 80s tunes. The style and concept is the same, but the sound however is not.

There are 4 buttons going from mild to a more intense, chorus, but nothing gets out of control or "seasick" and all presets are usable. You can also combine the settings to get a total of 16 sounds. The most useful thing is being able to push a button for a predefined preset. This means you don't have to dial sounds in, but on the other hand it gives you less control and you are limited to the settings as defined.

Overall you get a range of bucket brigade style chorus sounds, but there are no depth or speed controls. The sounds themselves are not as lush as you get on the original Boss pedal, but then that is 5x more expensive. For the price it's a good pedal with excellent build quality that will give you some of those 80s vibes.

chorus for bass

I am using this for bass. It is simple to use with its knobs and gives good sounds. There is some bass loss, but nothing that could not be fixed with some eq:ing.

Perfect 80s Chorus

It’s been hard to find this pedal in America lately and I’m glad I took the leap to order it from overseas. As soon as I plugged this in and pressed some buttons I found the sound I’d been looking for: a smooth, shimmery chorus that adds movement without drowning the sound in modulation.

It may only be 4 buttons and an on/off switch, but there’s a lot of variation available in combining the sounds. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for an inexpensive chorus, especially if you’re wary of pedals in plastic housing, as this thing is built like a tank.

Fine but not great

I'm not blown away by this pedal. I would love to compare it to the original Boss Dimension and see how it holds up. Unfortunately I am too cheap to buy one. But I should think the Boss sounds a bit more inspiring. Otherwise, a fairly pleasant chorus with not a lot of depth or modulation. Build quality is OK, metal housing is good. Switch feels a bit scratchy. Fine for the price but if you want the proper Dimension sound you might just have to buy that instead.

Not your classic chorus but definitely the 80s

Very good building. Amazing for this price.

Very simple in the use with the four buttons that can be combined and maybe limited as you will not get those super fast rate choruses. But the sound of it is unique, I love it because the notes are extremely clear even though the effect is strongly pronounced. Just watch demos and you will know if you like it or not. Do not expect to obtain massively different tones from it, it is more one chorus (made of a combination of 4 ) that is more or less pronounced by adding or removing them.

My favourite presets are combinations 2+4 and 2+3+4.

3rd Dimension Chorus

This is a really great chorus pedal for very little money. The 4 modes go from subtle to strong modulation. Really well built too. The only downside is that there is a very slight clipping when you dig in playing wise. Im sure this wont be an issue if youre using drive anyway. That said, I really like the pedal.

Fantastic Value for Money!

Purchased for bass, a unique and great sounding chorus that punches above its weight!

Stellar!

This has to be the best chorus style pedal under 200€. The sound is thick, creamy, and lush. I don't understand how they did it but this is the bees' knees!

The only one that rivals it is the Chase Bliss audio Warped Vinyl but that's 400€ and it's got 100 more options, while this one is easy and cheaper.

Totally recommended!

veeerry subtle chorus

so yeah, basically if you are looking for the very subtle chorus - this one is a way to go. If you are looking for something more chorus'y then check other great gear.

Good sounds, but very limited.

I thought it would be nice to try this pedal but to be honest its hard to get the tones you /want/. This is due to the odd 4-bit/binary operation on the front. I guess this was a way of keeping the price down but honestly I can't recommend this pedal at all. It's good sounding but still a bit bland or flat. I have two or three combinations of settings that are satisfactory but I'll be getting rid of this pedal asap.

That said, the pedal housing and quality is great, the TC Electronic pedals at this price range are rugged metal beasts.
