Good, but could be better

Main issue is a very noticable lag between input and display. It would help immensly if it was near instant. Now you must be very carefull and tedious not to overtune.

Second issue is that polytune function is too low resolution. It works, but you seldom get more than a 90 % tuned axe which sort of makes the whole concept moot.

Plus for nice build quality and that it takes 9V battery.

But why the TrueBypass/buffer switch is not external?

Excellent, but with a drawback. The TrueBypass/buffer switch is internal. If you, like me, run the tuner in front of everything and you want to add a fuzz for example, it is not convenient.

Works

Mine only works with single string tuning after about a year. So a little dissapointed, but I can still tune with it.

Good, solid tuner with great display & buffer

The display is pretty much always visible, even in bright daylight. The polytune feature is OK, but I don't often use it as I don't find it accurate enough to be properly in tune. Single string tuning is excellent and easy to do with such a good display. I also like the built-in buffer, which is a real plus for me. Overall a good tuner for a reasonable price. Not as sturdy as a Boss tuner, but this display makes it a winner. Useful extra feature is the 9volt out, which I sometimes use to power off-board pedals.

Pretty good tuner

Works nicely as a buffer and a tuner. Ignore thhe polytune, it does not function well. Use your ears and the screen.

I LIKE IT, it's SMALL, DOES NOT AFFECT THE SOUND AT ALL, BUT UNFORTUNATELY. DID NOT RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION

Inconsistencies with tuning in polyphonic mode and chromatic mode

It is frequent that the chromatic one-string-at-the-time mode will tell you every string is tuned but the polyphonic all-strings-at-once mode says differently, usually for me it's the E and the poly mode says it is sharper than the chromatic mode. Otherwise works very well.

Features are not all useful

The PolyTune 3 offers nice features, but they do not all work. The normal guitar tuning in "needle" mode works fine, but the "Poly" mode is not useful. I tune each string in Needle mode, then the Poly mode will display at least one or two strings in red, indicating they are out of tune. So the dream to quickly strum all strings and then tune the ones out of tune in Poly mode does not come true. Often, the automatic single/poly mode switches to poly when I tune only one string. I tested the Strobe mode and did not find it appealing, as the strobe indication in which direction I have to tune seems fuzzy to me.

Besides all this, the PolyTune 3 is very solid, has a good display, has the power supply for another pedal. The question is if the features I really use could be bought cheaper in a different product.

I didnt like its buffer

Although it is a perfect tuner, i didnt like its buffer. I cant say it is not a good buffer but it didnt meet my expectations.

Good overall, can have some issues if you have p90 pickups.

I cannot get the poly-tuning feature to work as intended using p90 pickups on whatever pickup selection, it only shows that I'm strumming 4 strings instead of all 6. Other than that, it's charming, good looking and does his job.
